As of late, I have been impressed with the number of electoral irregularities that have been reported during the past several election cycles. By electoral irregularities, I mean all these lost-and-found ballot boxes and bags, miscalibrated voting machines, judicial interventions, etc. Please understand, I am no mathematician or statistician, but I would think the very nature of any series of errors leading to those irregularities would be random, i.e. those errors would favor democrats and republicans equally. In fact, a decent dictionary definition of the word random could be a process of selection in which each item of a set has an equal probability of being chosen. So, my argument would be it is mathematically impossible, over the long run, for either democrats or republicans to have the majority of electoral irregularities cause benefit to their candidate. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case.
I have conducted a non-scientific study of all the news reports I can find addressing voting irregularities since the Bush v. Gore Florida debacle. I looked at reports from local, state, and national elections. I am not including any of the reports listed on Fox's voter fraud report web page because anyone can call in a report for inclusion, substantiated or not. I'm only including reports that turned out to be headline material. Ill admit, the sample data is flawed since I cannot guarantee I have found all relevant reports. With that said, I have found fourteen reports of voting irregularities benefiting democratic candidates, and only two where republican candidates have been the beneficiaries. Im including the Supreme Court ruling resulting in the Bush Presidency among the two republican scenarios. I am not including the Murkowski thing in Alaska. I do not consider Murkowski to be a republican, nor can I count her as a democrat yet.
I do not want to believe the democrats are manipulating the American electoral process as it seems they are. Democrats are Americans too, arent they? Tampering with the electoral process violates the law and the core beliefs most of America shares. Why would someone cheat the nation by illegal manipulation of the sacred voting process? So, this is an appeal. Please feel free to post any example of voting irregularities benefiting republicans. Ive already counted the Bush/Gore problem in Florida. Bring me something else. I need at least twelve examples for the math to work out for me and make things right in my world.
Fat chance.
You’re going to go on suffering because you know as well as i do who respects laws and who doesn’t and who believes in this country and who doesn’t.
Democrat party cares only about winning, and cheating is just one of their tools.
I understand your point, and actually agree.
However, be aware that mathmatically, it is perfectly possible to get a run of heads for 20 consecutive toss of a coin without their being any hankie-pankie!
One obvious hypothesis is that Democrats want to cheat and game the system far more often than Republicans do. The Bush/Gore drama of 2000 would really be another instance of this when a close look is taken at the machinations that the Supreme Court stopped, especially in light of post-election reviews of Florida by major media companies who all concluded that Bush really did get more actual Florida votes than Gore.
20 heads in a row? What’s that, 1 in a million times?
1) They find a bag of uncounteds, or machines glitch, or something else ...
2) go to court immediately, show the judge the odds
Also, since it’s easier for democrats to do things like not fill out a ballot correctly because they are dumber. Thus this would be fit them in a manual recount. Other than that, I agree, they are cheaters.
Basically, Bush/Gore2000, though Gore was never ahead in any recount ever, gave the left TOTAL LICENSE TO CHEAT.
With no remorse.
They think it was “stolen”. So they cheat, and cheat, and cheat, ...
Liberals believe in control. That includes controlling elections. Put another way, they are sociopaths whose understanding of right and wrong amounts to what is right for them and what is wrong for them. Yet another explanation is that if Democrats had any scruples, they would be Republicans, and not of the RINO variety, which are, after all, really Democrats. We might expect to see RINOs pulling voting frauds, except they are Democrats, and don’t cheat their own kind. They do go to great lengths to slander, smear, screw and destroy conservatives, so an examination of primaries where a RINO is running against a conservative might turn up a little fraud.
Regarding Bush/Gore, let us not forget that Gore’s campaign manager was none other than Bill Daley, the son of one of the most, if not THE most, infamous and prolific election thieves in U.S. history.
possible but not probable....
“I do not want to believe the democrats are manipulating the American electoral process as it seems they are. Democrats are Americans too, arent they?”
LOL on both points.
“Basically, Bush/Gore2000, though Gore was never ahead in any recount ever, gave the left TOTAL LICENSE TO CHEAT.

Malarkey. Democrats have been stealing elections since there have been Democrats.
>Malarkey. Democrats have been stealing elections since there have been Democrats.
Point taken. Now it’s just “better, stronger, faster” and “in your face” “LOOK WHAT WE FOUND” stuffed bags o ballots cheating.
Yeppers, that would be about right!
1 in 1,048,576 {(1/2)**20} if I remember correctly!
Not impossible, probably better than hitting the Power Ball next time though!
Actually a run of four or five is not as infrequent as intuition might suggest.
The Bush/Gore situation in Florida in 2000 was not an irregularity that benefited the Republicans. It was a Democrat-caused set of irregularities intended to harm the Republicans that the US Supreme Court put an end to after the Florida Supreme Court brazenly demonstrated its corruption.
Thus, your analysis as is contains a significant bias in favor of the Democrats.
Probably 20% of them are. The other 80% are illegal aliens, imaginary friends, and dead people.
Getting eight heads in a row is statistically significant at 1%. Take 0.5 and raise it to the 8th power. That’s the appropriate calculation.
