BTW, we just had a FR Palin slimer, “politicket” have a thread pulled because of a false title designed to discredit SP.
I’ve never seen anything like this all out ,demented jihad against a political figure in my life.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity,
they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.
They will go totally bonkers, and Sarah, while gaining more publicity, will laugh all the way to the bank.
Another example of the DEPTHS of liberal commentators. Go Sarah Go!
Well, his views on Pelosi are opinion. Everyone is entirled to one, no matter how stupid and irrational.
I do agree with his Pelosi remark; Pelosi was phenominally effective, if you consider simply results, albeit in a Mugabe, fascist sort of way. Constitutional Representative Democracy it wasn't.
As for the Chappadaquiddic remark, that is simply a stuck-on-stupid moment, if we set aside the sad mentality of any insane human being able to equate the death of an innocent victim with the voluntary resignation of a politician from office.
Talk about a pathological contempt for human lfe!
But that mind set among the radical progressives is now mainstream. What's the big deal?
It’s hilarious to see Shields mentioning Chappaquiddick in this context, since it never seemed to bother him when Teddy was alive.
Having said that, in the limited and goofy way he’s using it, he’s absolutely right. Agree or not, Palin quitting makes her a non-starter for many people for what it implies about her. Not saying I feel that way—I’m not sure—but I have heard more than one people say that choice was a dealbreaker for them regarding Palin as a candidate (and I’m not talking about liberals saying this).
I just think it’s funny to see Shields finally being forceful about Chappaquiddick being a bad thing. It never seemed to bother him before, when bringing it up might actually hurt his idol Teddy.
I would expect a liberal to make that kind of argument.
Listening to Mark Shields is like taking any sort of advice from Keith Olbermann
Shields hereby is bestowed the honor of the quote by the great and munificent Bryant Gumble: “What a F...... Idiot.”
Oh no! I resigned my job once, years ago. I’m guilty of murder and leaving the scene of an accident???? I think I’ll run for the senate.
I didn’t realize that clown Shields was even still alive, much less still getting paid to spew his drivel.
Now, I *do* think Sarah’s resignation as governor will be used as an issue against her should she run in 2012. But whether or not it ends up being a political albatross around her neck, it’s certainly not the moral equivalent of Chappaquiddick by any reasonable standard.
Another Fail by the haggard left.
Naw, Palin showed America she isn’t going to play by the same old rules and good ol’ boy methods. She showed them she thinks outside the box and has the strength to take the heat. She told America she’s different from the typical politician.
That may be exactly what America thinks it needs in the next election.
Now she somehow has to get her message out to the average American despite the avalanche of misinformation the media showers on them.
Proof that libs come from a different country - it's called crazyland.
As much as I like Sarah Palin, I’m afraid that her decision
to quit as governor hurt her presidential aspirations, and that’s the point this guy is trying to make. The other side
has already labeled her as a quitter and that will be the message they’ll use on her relentlessly. I understand why
she left, but I really wish she had stayed the entire 4 years to get the experience she would need for the presidency.
In other words the media won’t bring it up and it won’t affect her future career??
PDS.
Palin Derangement Syndrome is disease that causes brain tissue to waste away, and thus causes moments of rage and irrational thinking.
PDS exhibits clinical signs very similar to RDS (Reagan Derangement Syndrome).
PDS also seems to affect the same segments of the population that suffered from RDS. Researchers are trying to pinpoint the relationship between these two brain wasting afflictions.
This is the beginning of a blossoming flood of less-than-prohetic proclamations designed to paint Palin as somehow "unelectable," primarily due to the fact that her record in Alaska paints her as the single-most effective elected executive this country has ever seen.
Keep in mind, she won her Governorship, jailed several corrupt predecessors, re-worked the Alaskan-Big Oil revenue sharing program, instituted several ground-breaking policy changes, got Big Oil to start development of new crude-rich production sites, defended herself against numerous spurious legal assaults, successfully negotiated the Alaskan Natural Gas Pipeline deal, re-worked the Alaskan Governor's now-much-leaner perq trough, had a baby, ran for V.P., and still left office with nearly half her term yet to finish.
I know of several two-term Governors who didn't accomplish half that in 8 years. In fact, most Governors ever to serve in all of history left far less-significant marks over their entire carreers.
If somebody decides to run who can actually better Sarah's record of remarkable executive accomplishments, I'll be happy to give them my vote in 2012.
Let's just say I'm not holding my breath. And neither are those plucky, whistling Democrats... it takes alot of hot air to keep whistling for two more years.

More reason to defund NPR/PBS.
This guy is brain dead.
