First Steps Toward Police State USA?

For two years we've been waiting, and now Election Day is here. The polls are open on the east coast and will be opening shortly here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and all across the country, and I pray that the turnout is a record number of America-loving patriots. I also pray the socialist slugs will stay home, but I know we have a terrible upcoming battle against the cheating liberals in every election taking place today.

After the past two years of unbelievable, unconstitutional overreach by the America-hating left in Washington, the majority of Americans has had enough and is desperate to remove these people from power and stop their freedom-robbing agenda. I hope there are enough of us that will turn out, so that we will be able to more than overcome the amount of voter fraud by the left. I hope we can expose it and send some folks to jail for engaging in the despicable act of stealing our honest votes.

It would take quite a big book to detail all the crimes against America by the Obama administration and Democrat-controlled Congress. From the unconstitutional healthcare bill, to the illegal takeover of private sector companies and banks, to the outright theft from the American taxpayer with the endless so-called "stimulus packages," to the government's suing of one of our own states so that the government can remain in dereliction of duty to secure our borders and deport the illegal aliens in our country, there seems to be no end to the dirty deeds of the Democrat Marxists currently in power.

If Republicans take the House and do well in the Senate, there's a lot of rolling back of legislation--and investigation of Democrats at the highest levels--that needs to start happening. Another reason to make sure we vote out the Democrats is a little nightmare jewel of a bill that should never see the light of day for a vote, and it was featured last Thursday by WorldNetDaily's Bob Unruh. In mid-July, Charlie Rangel introduced H.R. 5741, the Universal National Service Act. Just the introductory paragraph alone should send chills down your spine. The Universal National Service Act is,

"To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes."

Did you get that? This is like the draft on steroids—to require all people 18 to 42 years old to perform national service. Who do these people think they are? What do they think this is, North Korea? I guess they’re not able to indoctrinate enough kids into the liberal mindset in the colleges, so they’re working out a plan to force all young people into programs that will no doubt be run by leftist community organizer types so they can get their Marxist claws into the rest of the young people’s minds—even those who don’t attend college.

You probably remember back during the ’08 presidential campaign when Barack Obama was in Colorado Springs giving a speech, and he threw out this baffling little brain-teaser,

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

At the time, we were left wondering what the heck he meant by that. Visions of brownshirts danced in our heads. More likely, these would be greenshirts, programmed in enviro-worship and politically correct thought-policing tactics. I still want to know what “national security objectives” he’s talking about, and who it was that set them. Whatever Obama meant by those remarks, it can’t be good.

After Obama’s perplexing statement, WorldNetDaily’s Joe Farah addressed the topic in one of his daily columns,

“Now, since I've never heard anyone inside or out of government use the phrase ‘civilian national security force’ before, I was more than a little curious about what he has in mind.

Is it possible I am the only journalist in America who sought clarification on this campaign promise?

What does it mean?

If we're going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal?

I thought Democrats generally believed the U.S. spent too much on the military. How is it possible their candidate is seeking to create some kind of massive but secret national police force that will be even bigger than the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force put together?

… Are we talking about creating a police state here?”

Obama has not deigned to fill us in on what exactly he intends this Obamaton police force to do, nor has he told us just what it is that this new force would do that our military, FBI, CIA, state, local and other police forces don’t already do.

But it now looks like ethics-challenged Charlie Rangel is introducing legislation that would get the ball rolling on that mysterious security force answerable to Obama. In his article on Rangel’s bill, WND’s Bob Unruh included a series of quotes from the bill as he wrote,

“According to the copy of Rangel's plan, which has been assigned to the Subcommittee on Military Personnel even though it lacks cosponsors, it specifies that ‘national service’ means ‘military service or service in a civilian capacity that, as determined by the president, promotes national defense, including national or community service and service related to homeland security.’

‘It is the obligation of every citizen of the United States, and every other person residing in the United States, who is between the ages 18 and 42 to perform a period of national service as prescribed in this title,’ it specifies.

It would require that the president provide ‘for the induction’ of people to the service corps.

‘Except as otherwise provided in this section, the period of national service performed by a person under this title shall be two years,’ Rangel wrote.

The exceptions provide that the term of service may be extended if the ‘member’ needs to ‘compensate for any time lost to training for any cause’ or ‘for the purpose of furnishing hospitalization, medical, or surgical care for injury or illness incurred in the line of duty.’

It gives the president the far-reaching authority to ‘prescribe such regulations as are necessary to carry out this title," including what types of ‘civilian service’ are required, ‘standards of satisfactory performance,’ ‘penalties for failure’ and ‘such other matters as the president determines necessary to carry out this title.’

Conscientious objectors would be ordered ‘to perform national civilian service … as the president may prescribe.’”

This is just beyond belief. That legislation could have come right out of Hitler’s Germany. Mandatory youth service is nothing new. Hitler knew that to control the people, you have to get them when they’re young. He had his own personal army of Nazi thugs and the darling Hitler Youth. What are Obama and Rangel up to with this “civilian national security force” deal? I think we need to make sure we don’t ever find out.

Vote these creeps out of power, and keep voting them out of power until we take our country back.

Is there anything new in this article that we did not know 2 years ago?

Yes, you have learned that a bill has now been written by one of our elected representaties — or did you know this, too?

What I fear is a massive cleverly constructed campaign complete with MSM manufactured stories of voter fraud by the Tea Party, all orchestrated by Obama a sore loser trying to divide Americans even further after the elections.
Actually its quite possible depending on how gullible we become, Obama wants to create a smear campaign against The Tea Party with the utmost of priorities.

What’s new is that it is coming up now as a bill, not just talk.

...to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.

Emphasis above is mine. It is that catch-all phrase at the end that is really chilling. It means they can basically induct anyone, at any time into this "security force" or brownshirt whatever. Of course, there's no specifics on the organization of the brownshirts. So while some may be inducted and carry out the fascist's plans, others may be inducted for "extended indoctrination" into the program - prison/re-education camps. Where you would no-doubt be subject to 24x7 monitoring, strict indoctrination, harsh discipline, etc. The SS rides again.

This ever passes, we are not America anymore, and all bets are off.

The police state is already here. Our current government enforces its wishes by the police. The president told the justice department to drop the case against the black panthers who violated the rights of White voters. The police are routinely called when there is a breach of the PC speech code. The police really work hard on any crime against a protected minority, and drop the ball on any crime BY a protected minority against a White.
The police state is already here.

The bill was introduced by Rangel on July 15, 2010 with no cosponsors. It has been referred to a committee where no action will be taken on it.

“For context, Congressman Rangel has introduced this bill many times in the past. Each time, it has received very little support, and Rangel knows it has no chance of being passed.”

I also emphasized those very words in the recorded version of this “radio blog.” http://www.dakotavoice.com/2010/11/first-steps-toward-police-state-usa/

I am the author of this piece, and as you pointed out, those are the key words—right on!

No, the bill has not gotten anywhere yet. It’s in the Subcommittee on Military Personnel.

But, I wonder why you or anyone would put anything past these Marxist cats in Washington. They’ve wanted socialized healthcare passed for years, as well, and it never went anywhere, either. But, they rammed it through. This type of deal could be done with the stroke of Obama’s pen by executive order, if they wanted to. These people care not for the rule of law—they’re dictators.

With the brazen acts on display during the past two years, I would put nothing past these traitors.

Right-on!

I hope and pray we will be able to stop them. They’ve been worming their way into our government, courts and institutions for decades and decades, and we’re finally just now fully waking up to what they’ve been up to.

Lord, help us.
