New Delhi, November 1, 2010: Not an inch of the ITC Maurya Sheraton will be without surveillance when US President Barack Obama arrives for a two night stay.
The luxury hotel is swarming with Delhi Police commandos a week before he checks in with wife Michelle.
Obama arrives for a Nov 7 9 stay at the Presidential Suite of the south west Delhi hotel and security is visibly tight even though police and hotel staff refuse to divulge details.
Police commandos in combat gear have been stationed in Mercedes vans.
Also fortifying the hotel are private guards lining the corridor that leads to the main entrance.
Hotel security admits that all staff, right from chefs to bellboys, are on high alert.
All the 440 rooms at the hotel have been booked for Obama and his entourage.
US officials discuss Teleprompter for Obama
NEW DELHI: A US technical team on Monday discussed with Indian officials installation of a teleprompter in the Central Hall of Parliament for use by US President Barack Obama during his address which will also mark the debut of the speaking aid in its hallowed precincts.
The US team deliberated on the Teleprompter issue with officials of Ministry of External Affairs and the Parliament, official sources said on Monday. Obama will take the help of a teleprompter to deliver on November 8, his address to the 780 odd members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the evening of November 8.
Somethin's up, though. I don't know what, but hear me now and believe me tomorrow... he's up to something taking his entire extended posse with him overseas like this.
lessee...the man who calls Americans his enemies...is leaving DC for 2 weeks after the elections..with an entire entourage in excess of 4-500 hundred?!!
Wonder what the gieger counters will eventually register in DC.....
I don’t think the US is going to be nuked from afar during his flight to the East, either. I do think he plans to do something while he’s abroad that could be very detrimental to US interests, however, and part of this big display is simply to distract from it. He knows that the press will either be impressed by the glitz with which their hero has surrounded himself, or will be embarrassed by it and hence will politely look away. In either case, nobody is going to be paying much attention to what he is actually doing.
My ultimate feeling is that he is moving on from being President of the US. Maybe he’s got a better offer out there.
He's going to kick off his campaign for Secretary General of the UN / King of the World.
Every time the Kenyan and/or his hyena-faced wife goes grandstanding abroad like this, all I can think of was his central foreign policy theme during his 2008 campaign which was that he was going to make America "less arrogant" on the world stage.
He is going to tell India to surrender to the Pakistan Gov. Everybody knows he would sacrifice the folks in India for Pakistan.
Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A : Yes, by his own admission.
So you know that the good people of India will be concerned about the Obummer being in their country.
BTTT
The USA will spend 200 million a day for this trip to India!
“About 3,000 people including Secret Service agents, US government officials and journalists would accompany the President. Several officials from the White House and US security agencies are already here for the past one week with helicopters, a ship and high-end security instruments.”

If he is taking several hundred FBI agents, those agents have families behind and those families read FP and talk. These people are not obamanation’s muslims. I can’t see how the FBI people could be “made” to be traitors to their country..... it would seem that IF the obamanation was planning a hit on America while he was gone, he would not take FBI people.... but rather crawl under the creepy robes of his mentors...
“Every time the Kenyan and/or his hyena-faced wife goes grandstanding abroad like this..”
The kids are going, too!
