His leftist policies led to record-breaking unemployment, foreclosures, deficits and debts. Now, these so-called experts tell us that Alex Sink is a moderate, but records who she is as radical as Obama.

IF ALEX SINK IS SO MODERATE, WHY ARE RADICAL LEFTISTS DONATING TO HER CAMPAIGN Sun-Sentinel Leftists supporting Alex Sink: Sink has been reliant on a small universe of big givers, a tight network of unions and interest groups that have disclosed large contributions to the Florida Democratic Party. The FEA, the statewide teachers union, has funneled at least $2.5 million — and $1.74 million since September — to party coffers, largely to help pay for Sink's ads, campaign staff, polling and other expenses. [...] The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees [AFSCME] has sent the party $1.2 million through Oct. 8 — and $775,000 since the primary. Unions are investing heavily in Sink, in part because Scott has pledged to reduce the state workforce by 5 percent and cut property taxes by $1.4-billion statewide... Putin is a low down, murderous, POS tyrant but he has aggressively pursued what he thinks are Russia's national interests. Admittedly I think many of the things he has done have decidedly NOT been good for Russia in the long run (Iran, Chavez, etc.) but he is doing what HE thinks is best for his country.

Putin no doubt considers himself a patriot. Obama does not. Obama is not trying to make America more powerful. He is trying to cut us down to size, destroy us. He's just as evil as Putin in his own way but very different IMHO.

I lived in Texas when the Ann Richards--a candidate much like Alex Sink-- won the governor's race in 1990 through the arrogance of the Republican candidate who should have won with a landslide.

Richards immediately implemented her backers' environmentalist, minority and feminist agendas--at the expense of everyone else in Texas. Her environmental regulations equired environmental studies that prevented farmers and ranchers from using their property if any kind of critter lived there that might remotely be considered endangered. One of her biggest disasters was an vehicle emissions program that was sole-sourced to an incompetent minority/woman owned group. A test run of the operation resulted in vehicle owners waiting eight to twelve hours just to get their vehicle into the inspection station, then it was almost a sure thing that they would have to come back after spending hundreds of dollars for repairs and then go through the inspection process all over again.

W ran against Richards in 1994 and beat her handily, despite the national news media doing all they could to get her reelected. The night of the election I never will forget Walter Cronkite cooing, "Ann Richards, the most popular governor ever in Texas," each time new election returns came in--each time showing W getting further and further ahead of Richards. He kept saying, "I know that we will shortly be getting late returns for Richards from west Texas that will put her in the lead." Those late returns never existed!

Richards went down as one of the worst governors Texas ever had, and I hope we'll never know what kind of governor Alex Sink would be.
