my denver donkeys got their butts kicked bad last week.
When was the last time Jon Kitna threw a TD?
I say they should put Stephen McGee in there and see what happens.
He played for the Bengals, then Carson Palmer came along and he was traded to Detroit, as I recall. He's an upstanding guy and not a bad QB. However, he dropped off the radar screen so it has been awhile since he last threw a TD.
Not if you saw last week's game against New England. The Chargers clearly outplayed the Pats in just about ever phase of the game but found a way to lose, including four turnovers. To top it off, after rallying with 14 points in the fourth quarter, in the closing seconds, they commit an offsides to push the game tying field goal from 42 yards to 49 yards. Five little yards, but lightyears in terms of percentage. Of course the 49 yard try (might as well have been 49 lightyears) hits the upright and bounces out.
Kitna was also the back-up last year and RTomo took every snap. lol.
But I heard someone describe it as perfectly straight right down the hashmark. lol. Otherwise perfect except for hitting the upright, lol.
The odd thing was that it started out to the right and then started bending or being blown left, hitting the right upright. If the same kick had been a 54 yard try it would probably have been good, since it was moving left when it hit the right upright. (Is the one on the other side the upleft?)
I didn’t see it, I just heard about it. Did you see that video of a high school kickoff going backwards 12 yards because of a high wind? It was at yahoo.
