You’d only think THIS is racist if you missed the Dem mayoral primary in DC. Talk about racist !!! Gray (the target of this ad) was the uber-racist in that race.
I didn’t get much of their message, the anger in that woman’s voice had my attention the most and that annoying ice-cream truck background noise...didn’t help.
That’s a terrible add, I can’t tell you what it was about, or even who it supported.
As someone said, the background music was distracting, and honestly, the add just looked cheap and poorly thought out.
There are 4 candidates on the ballot: him, Gray, the Green Party and the Socialist Workers Party. But still I'd probably write-in Fenty if I was still in DC.

It was disturbing all right.... I had NO clue what in the world the announcer was talking about, and the chimes in the background made me want to stick a pencil in my eye.
Yeah, but this guy is outright saying what Gray insinuated, and yeah, I supported Fenty, but the closed shop here (if anywhere needed an open Primary, it’s DC), made damn sure I couldn’t express my support.
Yeah, my wife called it “ghetto fabulous”....she also referred it to the neighborhood blog.
I think it says more about the audience than the candidate. I’ll bet it’s effective, too.
Not even close to the scummiest ad of the year. Have you seen the DCCC ad making Col. Allen West into a gangster? Like THAT’s not playing on racist stereotypes!
Most racist ad was done during the 2000 or 2004 cycle, where the truck dragging death of a black man—by two white hoods who were given the death penalty and upheld by Bush—was exploited using the man’s daughter to say voting republican would be like killing her father all over again!
