EXACTLY! This is what I have been ranting about for months without a clean sweep including the RINO’s there will be NO change ano hope.
Everyone seems to think that the great ‘tsunami’ that appears to becoming in November for the Republicans will change everything and I agree that it will just not in the way they think. IMHO such a great victory will in the end be equal to South Carolina’s firing on Fort Sumter. The ‘DemonRATs’ and the leftist will ‘go to the mattresses’ and ‘war’ will breakout.
Does Obama/Pelosi/Reed or their kind seem like people who can take even such a dramatic loss gracefully? Do they seem like people who can or will learn from a loss and correct their course accordingly? DO they even seem SANE? Nancy is already bragging about how she will still be the Speaker after the election. Haven’t they shown time and time again that they will go to any lengths for revenge?
So many seem to think that November’s elections are some ‘Magic Wand’ that will wipe away our troubles! Let me tell you after such a win (if it happens) the REAL TROUBLE WILL BEGIN!
Yes the Republicans will more than like to score big this November, but will the ‘DemonRATs’ learn anything? Hell NO! For that matter will the RINO’s learn anything? Just read from any number of articles on O’Donnell’s win, look at what Rove and Snowe have said, look at what Murkowski and Crist are doing, look at how the Republican Leadership of RINO’s allowed Murkowski to keep her committee positions! Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is already saying that he and his GOP colleagues have no intention whatsoever to repeal ObamaCare! Do not these acts show you what will be learned from such a victory, LITTLE if anything! The Elitist Jerks of both parties are scrambling for their political lives and they know it!
Oh you say but those ‘DemonRATs’ up for re-election in 2012 will learn fear, they will be scared to the ‘middle’. First the middle of the road is where you get run over! Being in the middle of the road is what got the Republicans’ butt kicked in 2008! Some say oh they won’t pass anything with the the people so opposed to them, to which I say, BS! DO any of you remember the crowds that surrounded Congress during the ‘Obamacare’ vote? Did it scare them?
Look about you it’s not only the ‘DemonRATs’ but the RINO’s as well who refuse to see that they have brought, supported and passed an agenda that the American People have rejected. They still feel that they know best and any defeat will only come about due to the ignorance of the electorate.
I have posted this before and I will keep posting it (I am beginning to feel like Paul Revere: THE RADICAL PROGRESSIVES AND THE RINO’S ARE COMING! THE RADICAL PROGRESSIVES AND RINO’S ARE COMING!) because I know in my heart that I am right about this, too many are thinking that the upcoming November elections are going to reset everything. And I say that NO matter how bad November is for the ‘DemonRATs’ you can bet that ‘Zero’ and his kind will not only press on with their agenda but DOUBLE DOWN on it! And now it looks as if there will be RINO’s looking for their revenge from getting their butts kicked out that will join them.
I don’t believe that the November elections will immediately change a thing! The Washington creatures both Democrat and RINO still believe that they know best and will act accordingly.
Even if there is the BIGGEST turnover in history this November the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triad are such a pack of narcissist that they will come back during the ‘lame duck’ session and pass every far left-wing bill they can think of! They will burn the house down before they surrender it! If they can’t drink from the well they will poison it for all! If they can’t keep it they will surround it with mines and keep anyone else from getting to it! That will be their reaction.
Even after the ‘lame’ duck session you will see the greatest attempt by any President in our history to rule by executive order! ‘Zero’ KNOWS BEST what is good for us and he will act accordingly. No mere election won by a bunch of peasants or as ‘Zero’ describe us: Bitter Clingers (“And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”) is going to change his direction. To ‘Zero’ such a election will hold no meaning and only be the ‘peasants acting out’ and he knows what is best for those ‘bitter clingers’ and he will do it to save them from themselves!
If anyone thinks that a big loss in November will make one iota of difference in Obama and the ‘DemonRATs’ leftist agenda you need to seek professional help immediately, because I assure you that the sounds you will hear coming from them after such a lost will not be the ‘wailing and gnashing of teeth’ it will be the notes of El Degüello.

IMHO the November elections will NOT provide the immediate relief we think, but will instead it will be the ‘dropped gauntlet’ the slap across the face the challenge that will bring us to what I call a National ‘Battle of Athens’ moment (http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~tnnews/kns001.htm )
A time in which it will require much more action that punching a ballot to save the Republic. There is so little ‘middle ground’ left and what there is, is shrinking every day.
IMHO there will soon be a time of great choosing and you will be required to make a stand to: Choose this day how you will serve; Will you serve unwillingly and at the bidding of others wearing the yoke of socialism or will you hold true to the course of our forefathers’ standing tall and serving freely? As for me I choose to SERVE THE REPUBLIC!
If this is a sign of what we can expect in Congress for the next two years, the elections of 2012 will be irrelevant and elections after that will more and more resemble "elections" in the old USSR.

This is such a nothingburger. The GOP has so many real shortcomings, I see no need to invent real ones.
It would take a VERY dense politician to say, "I don't care if Obama comes over to our point of view, I still would not work with him."
The last thing I want to hear election night when the winners are standing on a podium full of balloons, flashing cameras and cheering supporters - is how they are going to reach across the aisle to the Democrats.
They better know that they have less than two years to go in there and play full body contact smash-mouth footfall, and undue as much damage as they can, starting with Obamacare.. And they can’t do that with compromise and reaching out. If they fail - then debating about who we want to run in 2012 is a waist of time, because this house of cards of conservative voter enthusiasm will fall.
The election has not even happened and Republicans are already planning on how they can throw away any gains. They must feel as desperate as the Democrats. With all the TP folks coming in in would almost expect a substantial portion of the remaining incumbent Republicans to more or less ally with the Democrats so that they “can get things done.” And what makes anyone think 2012 can make it any better? If the Republicans give it all away after November the “independents will return to the Democrats in 2012 and the Republicans will mostly stay home. By then the digital stealing of elections will be perfected and wholesale.
Well, I see it this way. “Working with 0bama” would be fine, so long as it’s on OUR terms.
The House will be in comfortable control and will be a reliable firewell against any more nonsense Obama wants to push legislature wise. A 1 or 2 vote majority either way in the Senate won't change that, and with Republicans in nominal control democrats can run against a 'do nothing congress'.
We have three branches of gov - Congress can’t do much without the Prez. This is simply an attempt to sow dissentaion within the ranks by taking a stupid quote and acting like it is newsworthy much less candalous.
Happy, sad, made, indifferent, etc. His emotions don’t matter a damn to me. Government is a three-legged stool, and one of those legs is the Prez.

IMHO there will be more issues like these in an attempt to close the perceived “enthusiasm gap”. Since the election will be about turnout, look for every attempt to suppress turnout and excitement of conservatives by the left AND the middle.
Several RINO’s were taken out during the primary process which is a great step. I believe that during this cycle every single D should go down in flames. Make that D a scarlet letter. Keep the tea parties going, keep the pressure on, and hammer whatever RINO’s remain AFTER the election.
Hammer every R who even thinks about moving to the left. Shutdown switchboards and flood offices with complaints continuously after the election. If that includes McConnell, so be it. Then fire another batch of RINO’s during the next primary process.

The very structure of both the House and Senate weighs very heavily against any drastic changes in direction regardless of election results. The cause of this is the chairmanships of the various committees that actually run the nation. Leadership is based on senority so the biggest change is the (R) or (D) on the new name tags.
The problem the Republicans are going to have is reversing ten, twenty, thirty years of training. Yes training. Since the Republicans have been a minority party for years the only way they could get legislative programs accomplished was to “work with” the Democrats. This normally means s***ing up to Democrats.
After the 2000 elections the Democrats demonstrated their arrogance by effectively demanding a power sharing concept as the minority party. Since the Republican leadership were totally inexperienced in leadership they rolled over.
I hope that 2011 will NOT be a repeat of 2000; but, recent Democratic and Republican pronouncements cause me great concerns.
And, therein lies the problem with the GOP and the two-party system. People who are expecting the GOP to swoop in and save us from Obama (assuming they re-take control of the House and/or Senate next month) are going to be sadly disappointed.
In 2006 and 2008, the Dems won the Congress and the WH simply bewcause they weren't Republicans and the Republicans had screwed things up so badly, no one could differentiate them from the Dems.
In 2010, if the Republicans win, it will be solely because they aren't Democrats; NOT because they have earned the right to lead the Congress!! The Republicans haven't changed a thing since their 2006 and 2008 losses, but they will reap the reward of an angry electorate that has few options for a REAL, MEANINGFUL paradigm shift in Congress.
We voters and taxpayers are fed up with the "good ole boy, wink wink, nod, nod" system. The politicians represent themselves, NOT us!! That's why so many of us are fed up with both the leftists AND the establishment Republicans. The symptoms may change, but the disease remains the same. If we can clean house and quit recycling the same old politicians (AKA white collar thieves), we might actully get back to a Congress that does what it is supposed to - represent the will of the voters and taxpayers!!
