Elizabeth Hasselbeck (photo above) says that Muslims did not kill Americans on 9/11. Now, that’s an interesting (and rather Orwellian) statement from the only purported conservative member of The View daytime television show. You remember – the one where co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar got up and walked out on Bill O’Reilly after he said that Muslims killed Americans on 9/11.
I just watched part of the video of the show that aired subsequent to the Big Dust-Up – and had to listen two times to be sure that I heard Elizabeth correctly. But there it was – she said it – Muslims did not kill Americans on 9/11. In all of the hoopla centering around the Whoopster and Joy-o-matic, this one sort of stayed on the sidelines. Does Hannity know about this?
Here’s the link to what Elizabeth had to say (she begins at about 2:50 into the footage) after Whoopi and Joy delivered their walk-out explanations – and below is the transcription I prepared for your review: "I think it’s also – ah, you know, someone asked me this weekend – it was actually a Muslim man who asked me, did you sit or did you stay? And I think that there was, umm, maybe the idea, too, that if y-you know, if Sherri and I or Barbara maybe didn’t get up and leave that we agreed with Bill, and even on his show he seemed to say that I, I thought like he did on this issue.
And later on the show I even went on to say, no, I think that we should just be able to use the word terrorist..."

I am tired of people being forced to pretend that it wasn’t muslims who killed 3000 people on 9/11.
The whole country was terrorized by people of the muslim faith.
In fact, it is totally ridiculous that the enemy is inside the gates and attempting to impose their religion and law on us.

Elizabeth Hasselbeck is right though. It wasn’t all 1.2 billion Muslims who murdered 2733 innocent people along with their own 19 worthless selves. It was 19 individuals, who happened to be Muslim but could just as easily have been Amish. The same is true for the rampage at Ft. Hood, which was initiated by one disturbed individual who coincidentally happened to be Muslim, the Spanish train attacks, the daily rocket and mortar attacks on Israeli civilians, the London Underground attacks, and a VERY long list of other violent and unprovoked man-caused disasters . . . all just isolated incidents by individuals who happened to be Muslim. It would be politically incorrect to generalize based on the few thousand terrorist attackers who happen all to share that one trait. Besides, we can absorb the attack if our collective blindness and weak leadership invite another mass murder - Obama said so.
I think, in this whole O’Reilly-View mess, there’s a distinction that’s been missing and that nobody has communicated very clearly.
Did Muslims kill Americans on 9/11? Yes. Clear as the sky is blue.
Are ALL Muslims responsible for what happened on 9/11? No. And I think that’s what people hear when they listen to O’Reilly’s comments.

Yet, it is different than say a McVeigh situation. There is a pattern among a sizable minority within the Muslim religion that is violent. Perhaps the majority, give the violent ones a pass in one way or another. Islam is a problem, and the most radical form of it funded 80% of the mosques in America. This is an issue. How can you trust a Muslim knowing that if even 1% are bad apples that’s a huge number. You don’t have that in any other religion.
