Samuel J. Palmisano, IBM's CEO and Chairman of the Board, offered to give the White House ways to curb healthcare fraud and abuse. Mr. Palmisano said, “We could've improved quality and reduced the cost of the healthcare system by $900 billion . . . I said we would do it for free, to prove that it works. They turned us down.”

How could any President who cared about America reject such an offer?

If he accepted such an offer, he would relinquish control of the results and the information. He would not risk that.

Issue: $900 billion vs $0.

Offer: $900 billion > Free.

0baama Administration: $900 < $0.

You have to think like a Progressive: why solve a problem when instead, you can exploit it to achieve untold power?

They had no intention of saving our private system ... they wanted to put their own controls in - the control of our life and death.

Health care, like the fraudulent Porkulus Bill, is basically a taxpayer-funded payoff to friends of BO. That’s why 800 billion dollars can disappear without a trace.

Dear Sam,

Hussein doesn’t care how it WORKS. He’s only interested in the POWER. Don’t you UNDERSTAND that??!!!

The first paragraph of the blog entry contains a link of the IBM CEO saying the exact words quoted in the article.

Obama refuses it because “health care reform” IS NOT ABOUT HEALTH CARE REFORM;

“health care reform” is a man-made crisis, created by sixty plus years of liberal legislation INTENDED to raise the cost of private health insurance;

“health care reform”, just like “financial reform”, is no more than an excuse for expanding FEDERAL power, FEDERAL authority and FEDERAL control and or “ownership” of the “means of production” of one of the largest sectors of the economy - health insurance and health care.

The useful idiots - the liberals - have fulfilled all the expectations the Marxists have had for them; becoming their political drones to put a “moderate” face on a Marxist agenda.

I received an email with this story yesterday. First, I find it odd that the story has been around for two months and has gotten zero exposure. I consider myself pretty good at keeping up with the news and I haven't heard a word about it. Second, why did it just go away with no outcry from the media?

I can't wait to see Robert Gibbs (ugh) get up there and smirkingly shrug this off as more right-wing propaganda!

BTTT!

I'm gobsmacked! Why has this story been lurking for two months with no coverage?
