In a shocking Civil Beat report, Neil Abercrombie denounces his opponents as Nazis and enemies of civil rights. He points to ousted Broken Trust Trustee Dickie Wong as an example of “people coming together.”

I was listening to 830 AM KHVH yesterday evening and a gentleman came on the radio call-in to comment on the topic of Neil Abercrombie's involvement in Vietnam era anti-war activities in Hawaii . This was his account : (he presently lives in Hawaii )"I was wounded in action in Vietnam and med-evac'd to Hawaii where my right leg was amputated at Tripler Army Medical Center . After awhile they decided to send me on to the Mainland for further treatment and rehab . I was put aboard a bus along with several dozen other Tripler patients and we were driven down to Hickam to go aboard the med-evac aircraft . As we approached the gates of Hickam AFB we became aware that our bus was being pelted with objects that we later learned were eggs and possibly dog feces . Looking out the windows we saw that a long line of protesters were there ,some holding signs that called us 'baby killers' . The group seemed to be lead by a short heavily bearded guy , that I later came to know was a U.H professors assistant and now know as Neil Abercrombie . " His first hand account . And now the State of Hawaii is being asked to vote for this man as Governor of our State ? Remember who he was and what he did . Never forget .

His wife was front and center supporting the deserter Eric Watada. Neil was wise enough to stay out of it, but it wasn’t hard to surmise he agreed with his wife’s loyalties. I hadn’t heard about him mentioning Nazis but it doesn’t surprise me.

I do wish people knew more about Duke - that he’d speak up more. A friend was very vocal about how “stupid” he sounded but knew Neil would be bad for business. Then he helped moderate one of the debates between the two.. and after that encounter including a direct interview with Duke regarding health concerns he admitted that he’d been wrong. That Duke was very knowledgeable on the issues and had all the right positions.

Recall that it was Abercrombie who, shortly after Obama's inauguration as president, read a purported letter from Obama at Kapi'olani Hospital in Honolulu, which claimed that Obama was born at Kapi'olani. The hospital has never produced any record to indicate that Obama was born there.

A copy of the purported letter, on White House stationary and signed by Obama, appeared on Abercrombie's web site but was subsequently withdrawn. It was posted on World Net Daily. It's authenticity is questionable.

Seems as if Abercrombie may have been trying to cover up Obama's lack of constitutional qualification for POTUS.

Abercrombie has a "credibility gap" - to borrow a phrase frequently applied to LBJ in the 60s.

And by contrast, I suspect that Duke Aiona was the one who forced Fukino to finally post the HDOH Administrative Rules online as required by law. Can’t know for certain, but the rules appeared online on Nov 6, 2009 - 10 days after I e-mailed Aiona’s office to say that Rep Denny Coffman had told me to contact Aiona, the one in charge of Administrative Rules for the departments.

IOW, we may well have the one person in Hawaii’s government who cares enough about the law to force Fukino to obey it... running against the jerk who is highly likely guilty of perpetrating this fraud of a president on the entire country.
