Is there any reason to believe this is not exactly what a majority of California voters support?

Only the illegal voters.

It might be, but where can I sign to keep a dime of my federal taxes from bailing their sorry asses out when it’s time to pay the piper? If Californians really, really want to send illegals to college I suppose that’s their right, under the State’s Rights argument, but don’t make ME pay for their bailout (which the price of sending illegals to college will hasten).

I really don't think ANYONE except out of touch elitists supports this attitude anymore. All Whitman has to do now is remind voters that this will be a magnet for people to come to the US illegally and stay in CA.

This could be used by pub candidates nationwide to demonstrate how insane some dems are.

Only when you count the illegal vote.

Which they do, in California.
