Here is video of Mike Castle on with CNN’s John King today where he refused to endorse Delaware GOP U.S. Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell – who defeated him in the GOP Primary. Castle said he had a “nasty” primary with O’Donnell, both “politically and personally,” and because of that did not want to make any endorsement.
King also asked Castle to respond to GOP Sen. Jim DeMint’s belief that it is better to nominate “pure” conservative candidates and lose than have RINO candidates be nominated and win. Castle, of course, said he believes DeMint is wrong, and said it is still unclear whether “extremist” candidates can win in Nevada and Delaware.
It is a shame to see someone end their political career in such a classless way. Of course, his refusal to support the GOP nominee only demonstrates that he is indeed a Republican in name only.

RINOs are in it for the money & the power. They don’t care about this country any more than the libs do.
A. He should endorse her.
B. She can’t win.
Even if O’Donnell loses, I will still be happy that Castle didn’t get to be Senator.

The real extremists are those who would unteather our Republic from its Constitutional moorings, not those who would keep it bound.
RINO Castle and his fellow travellers are the real extremists.
The GOP establishment has already lost Big Time -- no matter what the election outcome is. And it didn't have to be that way.

In fact, if the race is close enough, they keep counting and finding ballots stuffed in car trunks, closets and dumpsters until they win.

And the a$$hole had to mention Nevada. Castle spoke with Obama and Biden after his primary loss. I guess this is what they decided as one of his talking points. I wonder what job Obama/Biden promised him.
No matter what happens, she’s better off without him.
I don't know if his endorsement would help or hurt her. His actions though, strike me as being like a starting pitcher that gets taken out of the game and then sits on the bench taunting the relief pitcher and yelling "You suck!".

Castle would have lost and lost BIG. The Republicans would have stayed home and Coons would have won. These people elected Biden. His approval rating is very high. They were not about to elect anyone but a democrat.

I would rather have the Marxist Coon than Castle...he would have been another Arlen Specter...a true Democrat under Republican cover.

You know, you make a great point. While I’m still confident she can win against Coons; the fact that she was instrumental in helping to disinfect the GOP of RINO’s was also huge!

I believe DeMint got wind of this, and that is why he suddenly endorsed COD out of the blue.
Yeah. They lose. They're figuring that they'd lose more if she wins though. If people stop buying their line that "Only a moderate can win in this state.", they lose the power to force those RINO's on us as our candidates.
