Ditto.
I’ve visited Japan and was not impressed either.
Germany was nice, but owning your own home was a dream for most Germans.
USA was the best of about 50 countries I’ve visited.
Is was the operative word here? I'm just back from a couple of weeks in Israel. It's booming there; no signs of any recession. Israel was a third world country a generation ago, and now from what I can see they live like we (in the US) expect to live but fear we may not be able to in the years ahead.
