O'Donnell to Christ Coons: "If you're saying what I said on a comedy show is relevant to this election, then absolutely, you writing an article saying you learned your beliefs from articulate intelligent Marxist professor and that what's made you become a Democrat, that should send chills up the spine of every Delaware voter" (Video)

I voted for Gerald Ford over Carter in 1976. That decision did not make Gerald Ford a rocket scientist.

My first ever vote was for Richard Nixon in 1972. Mom sent me an absentee ballot at college. Two years later I sat at a bar on the Atlantic City boardwalk following a Santana / Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young concert at the racetrack and watched Nixon tender his resignation on TV. That didn't make me a rocket scientist, either.

You are swallowing the kool aid. These charges are the product of the msm. So nice to know that some still depend on the libs to spoon feed them everything they need to know.

She won’t be handling your money anyway. However, with what she’s been through in her life, she sure has a handle on what its like to have financial difficulties. How wonderful that you’ve never had any. So, stay in your glass house and continue to throw your stones.

No. She actually did falsify her resume, and she actually did file a frivolous lawsuit against a conservative think tank.

As much as I detest the msm, simply shouting "msm conspiracy!" is no excuse to ignore an unpleasant truths about her.

She did extremly well and he came across as a condescending elitist jerk. How many times did he act like her answers were crazy talk when most people agreed w/her common sense Conservatism?

She did OK. No serious mistakes, no obvious soundbite material to use against her. However the numbers say that she needed to win over independent women by a 2 to 1 margin. Right now they are 2 to 1 for Coons. I don’t see this debate creating a sea change of that proportion.

That isn’t the MSM. That’s a matter of public record. She filed the lawsuit against ISI. It happened. And her own filing makes her look like an emotionally unstable individual.

The point in expressing my misgivings about O’Donnell now is so that the next time FReepers get all excited about a substandard candidate, people can point out that they were warned about O’Donnell and they didn’t listen - so maybe they’ll do some better vetting next time.

The shortest timeframe known to man is the speed in which the Establishmedia begins mocking a Conservative and FReepers join in that mockfest.

Then they will complain there are no Conservatives running.

Pray for America

The shortest timeframe known to man is the speed in which the Establishmedia begins mocking a Conservative and FReepers join in that mockfest.

The MSM is mocking O'Donnell because of the witchcraft soundbite (which is meaningless and which I don't care about) and because of her very conservative stance on social issues (which I wholeheartedly share with her).

I am not mocking her, but criticizing her candidacy because of her (1) complete lack of substantive accomplishments, (2) her inability to accomplish basic life milestones that 90% of GOP voters accomplish (finishing school, remaining gainfully employed for an extended period of time, owning a home, getting married, raising a family, etc.), (3) her inability to meet basic deadlines that all productive citizens would be expected to meet (like filing taxes, filing FEC forms for running for office), (4) her very liberal impulse to engage in politically correct litigation (suing an employer for firing her and claiming that it was due to sexism), (5) her admitted emotional instability (in her court filing she claimed that her continued years of unemployment were due to having flashbacks and breakdowns as she relived her firing over and over in her head, until she was urged by her family to seek psychiatric help), (6) her long track record of fudging with the truth (misleading claims in court filings, misrespresentations on resumes, lying about her college degree), and finally (7) her constant need to be the center of attention, to the point of helping Bill Maher win ratings by agreeing to be the "airheaded conservative" panel member on his show (not to mention her record as a prennial office seeker).

What shocks me about the MSM is that they have not latched onto any of these red flags - leading me to believe that Coons also has financial disclosure issues, resume issues and mental health issues.

I believe the Castle people thought the same thing before she defeated them

The GOP voters of Del. selected her that is all that counts.

You yourself said she is better than Coons-that is enough.

One, she isn't stupid.

Two. the reason she is so far down in the polls is because the RINO Castle hasn't endorsed her, so she is only getting 67% of the vote.

That is where the criticism should be directed.

No, had the RINO Castle endorsed her, and the RINO Rove not trashed her, her poll numbers would be in single digits.

So, the fault isn't hers, it is fault of the RINO establishment who hate to be beaten.

Rove said anything negative about 'M' from Alaska and her write-in campaign or Castle not endorsing her-I haven't seen a word about it.

What case? Are you calling the Del. GOP voters stupid as well?

Amazing for someone who is going to lose, how many people like to come on O’Donnell threads and attack her.

Filing a lawsuit doesn’t make you emotionally unstable.

I wasn’t pointing you out directly, but thanks for making my point. Perhaps we could give you an anal exam and find out anything in your past? If Bawney Fwank, Pelosi and Reid are qualified than Christine is absolutely fine.

Wasn’t she down 15 to what’s his Rino 3 weeks prior?

Pray for America

Castle's endorsement wopuld have helped.

While it's entirely possible that he would have refused to endorse her in any event, the fact that Yates Walker from her campaign floated a rumor about Castle cheating on his wife with a man pretty much ruined any chance of that.

I also don't believe that independent voters in DE give a flying fig about anything Rove has to say - although they do care about what Castle says, for some reason.

No thanks, guy.

I think you're looking for the Log Cabin Republicans website.

Nope. It was pretty close.
