Reality on the border is not a reality show

America is glued to the monitors following the rescue of the gold miners in Chile hoping all will go well.

However the media coverage of the rescue turned the reality into a reality show.We like a nice show but can we tell where the reality show stops and the reality begins.

Can we snap out of the entertainment for a second? Read the following news:

"The Mexican state police commander investigating the reported shooting of an American tourist on a border lake plagued by pirates has been killed and he reportedly was found decapitated."

This is not a reality show. This is the reality: Mexico has no control over their territory bordering the USA. The inability of Mexican government (federal and local) to perform any search or investigation of the murder of David Hartley proves that on the USA is no longer bordering Mexico.

If you pass across the Southern border you are no longer entering Mexico. It is a rogue territory controlled by drug cartels, murderers and terrorists. This is no fiction. People that are not yet decapitated on the ‘Mexican’ side of the Falcon Lake cannot have allegiance to Mexico if they want to keep their heads on.

While following Chilean success on TV with one eye we should be watching our border with the other. How big is the hostile territory controlled by international criminals south of the USA?

You’ve got to be brave to be an honest Mexican cop.

Just beheading the token Mexican law enforcement officials Americans won't.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

Inability? How about unwillingness... or active participation. The Mexican governmental entities have written the book on corruption. The Federales have been in the cartel business for many years.

Everybody on free republic should read this post. True and chilling words. The US is not longer bordered by Mexico. It is bordered by a lawless territory run by narcoterrorists. Does Hussein know?
