So would aiding and abetting terrorists to kill US soldiers qualify as behavior unbefitting of a sitting US senator?
On October 12, Scott Swett at the American Thinker reported that Senator Barabara Boxer (D-CA) along with Representatives Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and Henry Waxman (D-CA) secured diplomatic courtesy letters that allowed anti-American Code Pink activists to travel to Fallujah, Iraq. The radicals traveled to Fallujah in late 2004 to donate $600,000 worth of humanitarian aid to the people who had just killed 51 Americans and wounded 560 more earlier that month. Operation Phantom Fury in Fallujah was the heaviest US urban combat since the Vietnam War.
After the report was published at American Thinker the article was deleted at Islam Online. But, thanks to the internet archive a copy of the article is still available: (view copy at article link)
The article says that Code Pink:
Secured diplomatic courtesy letters from US Senators Barbara Boxer of California and Raul Grijalva of Arizona and Congressmen Dennis Kucinich of Ohio and Henry Waxman of California.
Swett reported on how Barbara Boxer and Code Pink assisted terrorists in Iraq:
Perhaps the most revealing window into Boxers true feelings towards our military is her close alliance with Code Pink, a radical leftist group that reviles American troops as terrorists and assassins while praising their enemies as freedom fighters. For years, Code Pink has viciously harassed wounded veterans and their families outside Walter Reed Hospital, even telling the mother of a slain Navy Seal that her son deserved to die. Code Pink actively supports terror groups such as Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, Hezbollah and al Qaeda.
The Code Pink website repeatedly praises our beloved Barbara Boxer. And why not? Boxer has worked with the group and supported its goals on many occasions. In early 2005, Boxer was the only member of the Senate to oppose certifying the Electoral College result that returned George Bush to office for a second term. Code Pink hosted rallies and participated in various demonstrations and marches to defend democracy against the results of the 2004 elections. They wrapped up the event at Senator Boxers California office, singing her songs of thanks.
Code Pinks leaders had just returned from Fallujah, Iraq, where 51 Americans had been killed and 560 wounded in the US Marines heaviest urban combat since the Vietnam War. Code Pink delivered $600,000 in cash and supplies to the very insurgents the Marines had been fighting against - quite literally giving aid and comfort to Americas enemies in a time of war. As noted in Islam Online, a diplomatic courtesy letter from Barbara Boxer helped make the trip possible.
On returning home from their trip to Fallujah Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin told reporters:
I dont know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine for the families of the other side, said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of Global Exchange, a human rights group. It is a reflection of a growing movement in the United States opposed to the unjust nature of this war, she said.
This must have made Barbara Boxer very happy. Unfortunately, our corrupt media will continue to hide this horrible event from the American people. Hat Tip Opaobie
I think this “the VFW has no control over the PAC” is pure Bravo Sierra.
I’d say that if they do not have any control they damn well better get some ASAP!
It’s like those large corporations that hire a leftist to run its charitable giving and pretty soon their donating to Greenpeace and Childrens Gay Day rainbow condom giveaways.
Boy, her hair color is sure having a knock-down-drag-out with that pink.
Ain’ it!
Thanks, I just sent this link to my California conservative friends and moderates who served or had relatives who served in our military.
I’m not a plugged in person but I sent this to Drudge - hopefully it will show up there.
Now there are some people deserving to be called w****s.
Thanks for the ping!
BTTT
Much appreciated. Keep those cards and letters coming.
If not for her pro-terrorist record, Jodie Evans hosting a fund-raiser for Brown would not be controversial, as they have a decades long political history.
While a law student, Jodie Krajewski (as she was then known) Evans worked as Browns deputy finance director during his 1978 gubernatorial campaign, and following his election signed on as his director of administration in the Governors Office.
The seemingly indispensable Jodie Evans later served as Browns treasurer on his 1980 Presidential Campaign, finance director for his 1982 failed Senate campaign, executive director of his post Senate PAC, managed his 1992 Presidential Campaign, and addressed the 1992 Democrat National Convention.

Jodie Evans, a co-founder of Code Pink, paid $30,400 for a pair of tickets to the VIP dinner, where she presented Obama with a petition from women in Afghanistan urging him not to send additional troops. Evans said she spent several minutes discussing the war there with the president and told him that the country's women “want a place at the table” in resolving the conflict.
Newsom, the terrible left wing mayor of Gay Frisco is catching heat re making Gay Frisco a sanctuary city and enabling serious illegal criminals to escape justice.
My list got that little tid bit this morning.
Why would anyone care? No one cared about Obama’s associations with the shady characters before the last election. They voted for him anyway.
That's the spirit! (sarcasm off)
Interesting.
Thanks.
All those who vote for Democrats are either ignorant or totally bankrupt morally.
BTW, hasn't Ron Paul been friendly with Code Pink?
Not everyone knows all the stuff we know. Many, many people who voted for Obama were unaware that he's a Marxist who despises this country.
All those who vote for Democrats are either ignorant or totally bankrupt morally.
The cure for ignorance is education. This article is an example.
BTW, hasn't Ron Paul been friendly with Code Pink?
Sorry, it's not my day to defend Ron Paul.
