Do any of you know . . .

in my rampant collecting of puzzle pieces related to Bible prophecy and the End Times . . . as well as UFO technologies stuff . . .

I’ve come across a few times serious scientist types—physicist, cosmology types—and I’m NOT including the New Agey mystic types here . . . but hard science types

who . . . privy to the deceptive inputs from the fallen angels/ET’s/nephilium critters . . .

have asserted that all this tangible stuff we construe as real . . .

isn’t.

My eyes have tended to glass over at that point and I rush on by . . . I can’t even recall what exactly they were alluding to . . . as if there was an exactly there.

I think the most I can liken where they seem to be coming from is . . .

that all this cosmos is something equivalent to our 1’s & 0’s in some vast computer.

I think they are full of . . . something . . . other than truth but I was wondering if any of you have come across such assertions in your readings.

I think there’s even been an assertion that Einstein came to the conclusion that none of this is real.

. . . whatever real means at that point . . .

I guess the movie that came closest was The Matrix.

On a different . . . track . . . somewhat . . .

There are very persistent assertions that the basic physics that is taught in all the better universities is very significantly flawed and inaccurate, WRONG.

Certainly the purported limit to traveling faster than the speed of light is the one thing that is purportedly quite wrong.

And there are repeated assertions that the unified field theory was worked out a long time ago and that Einstein was privy to it.

Then there’s lots of assertions about gravity this’s and that’s which I raced on by, too.

My very fuzzy memory on those items is that gravity is a whole lot more manipulatable than the old standard model would allow for.

k, thought it was an oxford group, but Cambridge works, too.

But the point remains that few organizations have been as successful in saving lives/souls as AA, and it focuses on a “Higher Power” rather than on any line of faith/religion.

The thinking probably was that once one believes in that Higher Power, and cleans up that disastrous aspect of his/her life, s/he can then follow whatever faith they were raised in or then become drawn to. And it’s been very successful.

I don’t know any AA’s whose Christian or Jewish faith hasn’t been strengthened from the 12 steps program. Don’t know anyone who’s Muslim or Buddhist or Hindu who’s gone thru AA, so have no point of reference there.

Ah, I see where you are coming from on the photon for the base!

All realms and realities are the Creation of God Almighty, even spiritual realms. All realms and realities have spatio-temporal expressions, albeit the continua of these other realms are very different from our simple 'present fixed' realm. To cut to the chase, even a thought exists in some spatio-temporal continua, we just haven't found the nature of that realm though we have clues that our 4D realm effects changes and transitions in/of that realm. When Jesus knew what was in the mind of His accusers, He also knew to which where/when He would step in order to 'pass through them' when they took up stones to kill Him for recealing He is I Am come in the flesh.

Indeed. I strongly agree and would add concerning Christ knowing what was in their minds, that information (successful communication, Shannon) is in the "permanent record" of the universe.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. – Matt 12:36

God's Name is I AM.

Einstein famously said that reality is an illusion albeit a very persistent one. He was speaking of local realism, but the point holds in the wider discussion.

No doubt we've mentioned similar things many times when the Higgs field/boson, quantum entanglement or superposition have been discussed.

Thanks for the link to the essay. Indeed, what else can the devious ‘mind’ do besides handle wave/particle duality???

And ... oh ... by the way, since this thread has a theme, Glenn Beck is right about many things in the realm of politics and morals.

When it comes to theology ... that is quite another topic. So, bottom line, I appreciate much about his efforts to reconnect Americans with the founding fathers of our nation and their principles. But as soon as he starts talking about God it is hands over ears and “la-la-la-la-la.”

“Keep in mind many of the founding fathers were Deists, not Christians. “

Mel Bradford disposed of that myth years ago in his book “Founding Fathers”. Franklin, Jefferson, Paine, and Ethan Allen were deists. But the vast majority of the founders were Christians of various denominations.

I believe Glenn would count the black robed regiment int he founders number, and these were all Christian ministers who preached freedom from tyranny as well obedience to nature’s God.

Well, its hardly a “myth” if at least some of them were Deists. What difference does it make if 5 or 15 were Deists, especially if the few Deists were key players. Hard to believe so many jumped on this. Ok, so change “many” to “some.” Sheeesh.

All this hullaballoo over how many Founding Fathers were Deists when all I was trying to do is defend Glen Beck who was being attacked because he was not perfectly consistent with Christian theology when he talked about God.

This place is really FReaky sometimes.

Lots of questions in that post bro. This gets very hairy for the non-physicist and/or computer scientist, but here's a brief list to get you going in the right direction(s):

Physical reality as information

(Goes back to Maxwell, and in a very interesting Gedankenexperiment):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_information

Quantum Gravity (my personal preference over the hopey-changey crap of string theory is loop quantum gravity):

There's a lot more on this subject, and it's one of my favorites. Remind me in email and I'll send you more relating to what I've been studying over the last 5 years.

Re: Clif's shutdown.

If I were the paranoid type, I would say that I expected this.

Maybe it's just a technical glitch.

Or maybe TPTB are tired of this tech in civilian hands. It's why I keep myself invisible.

I don’t listen to Beck for my religious teachings, and I do like most of what he has to say (and his history teaching is amazing and very needed). Sometimes tho, I am disturbed when he wanders off into the religion stuff. I wish he wouldn’t. And when I say that there are always those here on FR who get very agitated, accuse me of not being a good conservative, etc. It’s funny they accuse those of us who are disturbed by it of being the problem. I find that a little funny. It’s sort of a pot/kettle/black thing to me. I somehow doubt our founders were quite as big tent when it came to all religions as we imagine. I’m pretty sure that Jefferson, for instance, didn’t have much love for Islam.
On the other hand, I understand Beck’s (and other conservatives’) desire to draw everyone in for the good intent of winning the country back. I just don’t see that as a greater good than people’s souls. However, if someone is not a born again Christian who believes that Jesus is the only path to salvation that seems silly. I understand that.
