If I were the mother of a suffering child - I mean a deeply suffering child - I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.
This goes to show that no principle of civilization, no preceptno matter how holy, authentic, or certaincannot be twisted into the service of evil. Murder as an act of love.
The statement above is that of UK television pundit Virginia Ironside. The video below shows the entire exchange.
The host, about to introduce another guest was shocked into continuing the conversation calling her statement a horrifying thing. Indeed.
In another part of the interview, Ironside said that abortion too is an act of love. If a babys going to be born severely disabled or totally unwanted, surely an abortion is the act of a loving mother.
Ironsides statements left the other guest, Reverend Joanna Jepson, with her mouth hanging open at the horror. She has other reasons for being horrified. If Ironside had her way, people like Jepson and her disabled brother would never have been born or perhaps lovingly smothered to death.

The best way to first start to approach this is with sarcastic parody, to put into perspective that they are talking about murder.
If I were the mother of a suffering child - I mean a deeply suffering child - I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.”
“If I knew an immoral teenage girl - I mean who dressed provocatively - I would be the first to want to cut its head off... If it was a child who provoked my lust, who made me want to sin, I think any good Imam would.”
“If I knew a person who was overweight - I mean a bloated, disgusting, obese thing, maybe 20 or 30 pounds (2 stone) overweight - I would be the first to want to stab them to death with a knife... Since they are overburdening the health care system and destroying the environment with their gluttony, I think any good environmentalist would.”
etc.
As the Aesop moral said, “A tyrant needs no excuse”.
Someone added the axiom, “But they always think up a bunch anyway.”
Progressive people doing progressive things.
If I were the mother of a suffering child - I mean a deeply suffering child - I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.
All leftists are mentally disabled. Perhaps we should put them all out of their misery.
good,
I am fighting the fight on facebook.
It’s time to storm the machine gun nest instead of sitting in the trenches and waiting for instructions!
How can someone watch a child die? It puts tears in my eyes.
