Barack Obama has awakened a sleeping nation.

Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years. Truly, he is the savior of America's future. He is the best thing ever.

Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents, history will see Barack Obama as the source of America's resurrection. Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined; his efforts to nationalize health care have been met with fierce resistance nationwide; TARP bailouts and stimulus spending have shown little positive effect on the national economy; unemployment is unacceptably high and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels, and there is a seething anger in the populace.

That's why Barack Obama is such a good thing for America.

Obama is the symbol of a creeping liberalism that has infected...

I wish I could have the faith in the American people that the author has. I don’t believe that this heightened awareness and involvement will last. I can only pray it lasts through the coming election.

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

Perhaps 0bama IS God’s mercy on our nation. Perhaps this was THE BEST WAY to get God’s People to WAKE UP to the danger of letting Satan’s minions have their way.

Has he? I hope so.

But our GA Primary turnout was low. With all of the hype it should have broken 50 year records. But it did not.

Vote.

(Early voting in GA already underway)

It’ll be up to us, starting Nov 3, to make sure we continue to hold their feet to the fire, to make “Beltwayitis” a politically fatal disease, and to hammer them at the townhalls if they aren’t ACTIVELY working to dismantle the power structure of the elitists.

Control your states and you will control Washington DC. People need to really pay attention to their politicians in the states, governors and legislatures. When this happens, the federal government must follow the wishes of the states.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The author makes some good points and also makes some errors in his predictions. This country has become very divided under the current administration. Sadly, I believe the truth is that anger is building among the hardworking Americans who seem to be paying more and more for the lazy, lulled into a false sense of security, politically correct, koolaid drinking liberals who want to see things through rose colored glasses. A revolution is coming soon. If the skirmish doesn’t help to right the ship to a better course, a prolonged larger war will probably follow. Instead of it being a civil war, it will be similar to a cold war. Politicians will feel the pain of the citizens for a long time.

That’s a might purty article. What the author misses is that we have had both parties in office over the past 40 years.

After the election the power structure will still rest in the hands of the elite.

No use being shocked when we get the same harvest after planting the same seeds.

The tragedy is not the fools being elected to public office. It’s the imbeciles doing the electing.
53% of the brain dead Americans elected Obama,Pelisi,Reid,Frank etc. to office. We’re on a sinking ship I’m afraid. The November elections will tell the future fate of our Republic.

Badcrack might make us stronger, if he doesn’t kill us first, and that is a big if. Can the American people awake from the coma liberalism has beat us into? It is going to take a lot more than politics and elections. But that’s a start.

This fellow speaks my thoughts exactly. Except he forgot Obama’s sidekick Pelosi as she was a critical part of this 'teachable moment' in history.

Yes, this is exactly why McCain had to lose. If McCain had won(which was not possible after TARP vote) , and McCain took over TARP bailouts he would had signed into law watered down versions of democrats bills (some that now died in the Senate under Obama) and this would be called the Bush-McCain depression and national debt. There would be no Tea parties, the Republican party would be hopelessly split into fighting factions, Democrats would be united with independents against Republicans. In-spite of McCain working with Pelosi to undermine capitalism, McCain would get blamed for being heartless and protecting ‘the rich’ at the mifddle class expense. It would be a lose-lose.

Instead we have a historic test-case for all the world to watch, Obama-Pelsoi-Bush progressive-socialism is a huge failure, a disaster. liberal Keynesian economics is a fraud.

Agree. Or, as Newt Gingrich states, “it’s a choice between the Paycheck Party or the FoodStamp Party”.

Normally, I would agree that the picture was flipped--except--both show wedding rings on the hands. Aren't wedding rings worn on the left hands?
