National Republican tide cited as one reason
A poll released Wednesday shows incumbent Congressman Mike McIntyre in a dead heat with challenger Ilario Pantano in the race for Southeastern North Carolina's seat in Congress.
The poll of 450 registered voters in North Carolina's 7th Congressional District, taken last week, showed the Republican Pantano ahead of the Democrat McIntyre by 1 percentage point. Forty-six percent of respondents said they'd vote for Pantano, with 45 percent favoring McIntyre. Nine percent said they were undecided. The poll had a 4.7 percent margin of error.
McIntyre, in his 14th year in the U.S. House of Representatives, faces his toughest test yet in Pantano, a former Marine. McIntyre hasn't been seriously challenged in any re-election bid since 1998.

Ilario Pantano would be a great representative. I hope the voters understand tha Mcintire is a bald faced liar. He claims to be a conservative, but his first voted is for Nancy Pelosi. Every other vote occurs at the whim of the Democrat Whip who frees him on some votes and calls him into line on others. There is no such thing as a Blue Dog, only a pathological liar on a leash who pisses on his constituents at the whims of Obama and Pelosi.

Agreed and all the local commercials on McIntire are as bad as Obama’s garbage. McIntire touts conservative now but he voted for all of Obama’s garbage. I hope these blue dogs and commiecrats all across the nation get shown the unemployment line.

If the Rep is up by a point among registered voters, he’s up by at least 5 with people who will actually vote.
Sadly where Pantano is from (Wilmington) is democratic.
I can’t find any updated polls.
