Score one for the good guys. Not that we think police in general are bad guys or anything, but after watching this video of a Maryland state trooper jumping out of his unmarked car in plain clothes while brandishing a gun, we're not exactly keen to put him in the good guy category, either.
In any case, Anthony Graber, a man who was out shooting video of his (not exactly completely legal) motorcycling exploits when he was confronted by the aforementioned officer, was charged with felony wiretapping for recording the state trooper's actions when being pulled over.

John Wayne syndrome.....
Did they publish the name of this louse with a badge?

the good citizen ought to think about moving or his life is apt to become difficult.
If only we'd had cameraphones when the SWAT team swarmed into my office that warm summer eve...internal affairs would never have been able to say to me, "we looked into it, and it never happened."
And Pinellas county might have become a better place.
The really scary part is that he probably thinks that he is doing society good... This John Wayne type still thinks that speeders require a drawn gun to subdue...where is that in the John Wayne history? He is the State and he thinks that anything he does is okay. That is a real problem and has been a prevailing attitude with the police today.
What a huge moron.
Here. Let me cutoff this motorcycle and then jump out of an unmarked car with a gun drawn and no badge to get in his face and confront him.
Cops overall do a great job for what they have to work with but I can think of no other organization I think so little of other than the Maryland State Troopers. Well, the Democrat Party comes close.
John Wayne wasnt stupid. How ‘bout Barney Fife?
That must have been interesting.
Lets use the name Barney fife. After all John Wayne did love America and was a patriot. This guy,not so much.
Is the cop’s finger on the trigger?
a half dozen snarling, steroid junkies in uniform waving guns, a snarling german shepard, and one very upset fiance.
...you had to be there.
Oh, I'm sorry...it never happened...
Wait... was the plainclothes guy an off-duty trooper?
Paging Wiggins. Please stop watching NCIS or Hawaii 5-0 long enough to view and rate this performance. Thank you.
I can't tell. I can make out his thumb and grip fingers but not his index finger.
Yes, you’re right, should never have used John Wayne in that example! He was a much better man and had intelligence that today’s Police Officers do NOT have...or even care about.
I do feel sorry for Barney though... at least he was honest and decent and should never be compared to today’s police officers negatively.
Joseph David Uhler. It's in other stories, along with the detail that the cops raided the biker's house searching for the video, seized four computers, locked him up for 26 hours, and have cost him thousands in legal fees. Oh, and the signature of the judge who signed the search warrant? It wasn't on the warrant. Privacy concerns, you know.
You gotta point. How ‘bout SLEDGE HAMMER?
