Job fair — More than 50 Palm Beach County employers will be recruiting for full-time and part-time jobs as well as internships at the Palm Beach State College Job Fair from 1-4:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in room 127 at the BioScience Technology complex of the Palm Beach Gardens campus, 3160 PGA Blvd.

In addition, representatives from local public and private colleges and universities will be available to share programs of study and transfer information.

“We’re doing our best to try to help our current students, graduates, and the local community with their employment needs in this difficult economy,” said Career Center Coordinator Tracy Joinson.

“With that in mind though, if anybody is serious about finding a job, first impressions count now more than ever. That means dress for success and bring your error-free resume.”

Palm Beach State students, graduates and the public are will have an opportunity to speak face to face with area employers. Banks, hotels, health care, law enforcement departments, the U.S. Secret Service, retail services, nonprofits and a variety of businesses are among the employers who will be attending the event sponsored by the Palm Beach State Career Center.
