Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Sunday that he likes the odds on Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party candidate ruffling GOP feathers in the contest to replace former-Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.).
"The Delaware primary was interesting a new candidate, fresh face," McConnell said on ABC's "This Week."
"I think she's got a good chance of winning."

She's at 2.646 million. That's up about $100K in a day.
He at least said something encouraging, rather than trashing her like Rove and others have done.
How’s it looking for knocking off Feingold? How heavy is the anger up there?
And, no matter what her chances may be (totally unknowable), why wouldn’t it be best to give her all the support we can?
Also known as damning with faint praise.
Sure definitely.
McConnell is now scared for his leadership position.
And he should be.
3 superior Majority Leader candidates: Thune, DeMint, Barrasso.
I didn’t see it that way. She is down by 10 points in the poll.
I thought it was a good, positive thing.
DeMint is the favorite here, yes?
Feingold is down, Ron Johnson is pretty popular here.
McConnell is running for Leader of the Senate and he’s GOT to play politics.
He’s NOT a leader and it angers me that too many RINOs will vote for him instead of a REAL leader.
IF there is such in the Senate.
It was good to hear Mitch McC say something useful, but does he mean it? No
She needs to stay focused on Delaware - with three counties and 2400 square miles that shouldn’t be too hard. And with only 885,000 people she ought to have the $ to buy a lot of voters...oops I mean votes ;-)
Most recent polls on Feingold/Johnson:
Rasmussan: 51: J 44: F
Public Policy Polling: 52: J 41: F
CNN/Time 51: J 45: F
We in Wisconsin are excited but we can’t be complacent and assume that Johnson is going to win...
Think: Acorn voter fraud in Milwaukee, 2008!!
Time to step it up and contribute to Johnson’s campaign and/or sign up to call for him and Scott Walker(Gub.GOP)...

Personally, I think Thune would make the best Majority Leader and face of the GOP, and since he’s already in the leadership, would be the smoothest transition.
I think DeMint is most needed as chairman of the NRSC.
If only the so-called Republicans will get off her back!
Gotta give McConnell credit, he fought McCain tooth and nail, esp, on finance reform.
McConnell is a RINO and I could care less about what he says...even if it is true! His time is coming...
Is this the same McConnell who lead the charge to protect Lisa Murkowski on her committee position? He says one thing in public, then does another behind closed doors.
We are on to ya Mitch.
I don’t think Demint wants it.
