I got a call from P2S, BP's Oil Spill Clean up company in Florida and Alabama that stated BP mandated ALL clean up activities and work is TERMINATED EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. All workers are terminated effective immediately as well.
BP HAS TERMINATED THE CLEAN UP EFFORTS IN FLORIDA. YOU HEARD IT ON GLP FIRST.
I’m guessing they got sick of the shakedowns.
Well this ought to result in another “unexpected” jump in jobless numbers.

My guess is that they should have done this a few months ago.

I have a friend working on the main platform and he said today that they had let all the guys that worked for that Dick Cheney company go today, but others are still there working.

You know the BP slot machine is paying off big when all the shrimpers are driving around in new F-250 pickup trucks and paying cash for overhauling the diesel plants on their boats.

Between the EPA and the Chi-town shakedown crew BP has probably had enough. The little oil spill here in Michigan is bleeding Embridge dry. The feds keep adding new demands and when those are met, new demands are made.
One dirty little secret about the Embridge spill is the fact that the state hasn’t had the required inspector on the job for better than a decade.
It appears that BP has been watching the polls and have figured out that Barry and his ‘RATS are about to take some serious hits in November. Not only are little dictators like Iran’s MiniMe Hitler no longer afraid of the U.S., “Big Oil” isn’t impressed anymore either. LOL!
