If Obama can’t bend the cost curve, maybe God can. With nothing else working, President Barack Obama is asking religious leaders to help him sell the public on health care reform.
Politico listened in to an Oval Office conference call Tuesday, where Obama and top administration officials, beseeched thousands of faith-based and community organizations to preach the gospel on new insurance reforms, chiefly the Patients’ Bill of Rights. “Get out there and spread the word,” Obama told leaders from across the religious spectrum on the conference call, organized by the Health and Human Services Center for Faith-Based and Community Partnerships…
Obama instructed faith leaders to treat the new law as settled fact and use their perches of power to convey that message to congregants and friends.
Did he really pass on the chance to say, “Get out there and spread the good news about ObamaCare”? That would have been just audacious enough to make me grudgingly admire his shamelessness. And appropriate too: The prospect of O-Care working as well as the left thinks has always been more a matter of faith than reason.
From what I hear, the first step towards salvation is repentance. According to this new AP report, looks like he’s already on his way. Exit question: Does this story qualify as a miracle of sorts? He’s taken the water of taxpayer money and magically turned it into the wine of Democratic campaign contributions!
He asked them to help him pass it.....now asking them to sell it. Are they getting a commission? /s
Sounds like this president has totally lost it upstairs. I thought Carter was bad.
They're keeping their tax-exempt status though if they start preaching this at his request they should be challenged.

Is it Muslim or Moslem?
When Baby Boomers were children it was Moslem. The American Heritage Dictionary (1992) noted, “Moslem is the form predominantly preferred in journalism and popular usage. Muslim is preferred by scholars and by English-speaking adherents of Islam.” No more. Now, almost everybody uses Muslim.
According to the Center for Nonproliferation Studies, “Moslem and Muslim are basically two different spellings for the same word.” But the seemingly arbitrary choice of spellings is a sensitive subject for many followers of Islam. Whereas for most English speakers, the two words are synonymous in meaning, the Arabic roots of the two words are very different. A Muslim in Arabic means “one who gives himself to God,” and is by definition, someone who adheres to Islam. By contrast, a Moslem in Arabic means “one who is evil and unjust” when the word is pronounced, as it is in English, Mozlem with a z.

Journalists switched to Muslim from Moslem in recent years under pressure from Islamic groups. But the use of the word Moslem has not entirely ceased. Established institutions which used the older form of the name have been reluctant to change. The American Moslem Foundation is still the American Moslem Foundation (much as the NAACP is still the NAACP—the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). The journal The Moslem World—published by the Hartford Seminary in Connecticut—is still The Moslem World.

obama’s usual “faith-based” group is headed by the ultra-liberal social-gospel “Evangelical” Jim BogusMan Wallis. Among its members is the hijab-wearing, sharia-supporting muslim Brotherhood activist Dalia Mogahed.
With an “interfaith” group like that, obama has a ready audience for his obamacare message. However, the vast majority of American Christians and Jews, and especially the ones who are most truly faithful to God, will not listen at all to the claptrap that comes from this group of religious mis-leaders. So they do obama no good at all.
Besides that, we all KNOW that obamacare is downright evil!!!!
Let’s vote the Dictator Party (aka the Democrats) out of office this November—from your local animal control officer to Congress members, Senators, and Governors. Let’s vote in those who are most likely to block and defund obamacare, and to repeal it outright once obama is removed from the scene. And let’s keep telling our public officials that we want obamacare to go away!

Like most Serbs, I spell it “muslim”.
My deliberate refusal to capitalize “muslim”, “islam”, “islamist”, etc. drives muslims and liberals up the tree. I have seen web posts from liberal sites that prove this.
A few libs seem to think that I spell it “muslim” because I’m ignorant, or never learned proper grammar or pronunciation. However, it is those libs who are the dumb-dumbs, because it’s pretty obvious that I’m doing it deliberately, and that I’m a man who is not devoid of education.
And muslims and libs can’t stand my tagline, either!!!!
Reverend Wright can sell Obamacare in his inimitable style.

I don’t think this is going to work for Obuma. Supporting government funded abortions aren’t high on the religious list of things to do.
