Sarah is a great communicator, she is unafraid to tell it like it is and definitely not sold out to the Washington mind set of corruption, entitlement of the elite, just let us go along to get along of the Republicans.

Thank God, for cheerleaders.etc.

Pissant, you and Juan McCain have a lot in common. You spend more time attacking conservatives than you do attacking liberals.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m guessing some real out of touch old timers frankly, Mike Pence? All I can say is there are going to be a lot of very suprised folks, the world has changed, and a lot of folks don’t know it yet.

Gov. Palin may indeed view herself as best suited for a king/queen-maker role. She is a realist.

She is skilled at holding others’ feet to the fire, and can play a truly valuable role in keeping candidates aligned to the values and principles the PEOPLE really want to vote for.

I also believe Palin (just by being herself and the Media image of her) is too valuable for the Dimocrats as a motivating persona. SHE can get the Dims out to vote.

while not as anti-Palin as pissant ;-) I *DO* see a greater value in Palin as a ‘cheer leader’ than a candidate.

And Tony Perkins is who... again?

The retread from the 90s. Who’s trying hard to ride the Tea Party wave. Yeah. That would be him.

Means nothing, just as it means nothing when Ron Paul wins so many of these.

Yes it may well be that Tony P is not pulling for Sarah to win the nomination if she runs. I have heard him in the past on the question of Sarah for President, and he did not seem to share my opinion.

Sarah has been demonized by the MSM, it has reached Tony even.

Whom ever the nominee is, will be demonized, this is a fact!

Foolish to not go with the one that will fill the stadiums, that`s all I can say.

If Mike Pence was to win the nomination, he to will be portrayed as a right win extremist, so everybody should take a breath. Mike I am sure would make a great Prez btw

The most extreme position a person can hold is to be pro life, according to the LSM.

Sarah is the only way to fly

It’s funny when people don’t read the whole item before they post it. Especially when it’s a short item. Especially when the rest of the item clowns the point they were trying to make by posting it.

Oh, please. This type of straw poll tells us very little.

First and foremost, no one has announced a campaign or started campaigning in earnest yet. Until that happens, everything is wild speculation and no one really knows how well the potential candidates will do under real fire.

Secondly, these straw polls generally favor those present at the event. They’re fresher in the straw poll voters’ minds, and in many cases, the attendees came specifically to see that person in the first place. (How many straw polls were won by RON PAUL! again?)

Thirdly, they don’t really have predictive power. In 2008, this very straw poll (at least done during a primary season, as opposed to out of season) chose Mike Huckabee, who finished quite distantly to McCain in the votes that actually counted.

Shake yourself from your slumber Tony. Cheerleaders remain on the sidelines — Sarah is definitely in the game.

No, she’s much more than a cheerleader...

She’s a brilliant strategist...

She’s an encourager to millions of discouraged Americans who wait in long lines to hear her tell them the US is still the greatest nation in the world - and we’ll survive these assaults on our freedoms and rise above it simply because we are Americans...

She has Republicans and conservatives hoping and praying and begging for her endorsement and she has the dems on the run!

Not to mention, she’s handled her critics in DC, the press, and within her own party, with a wonderful attitude, a great sense of humor, and nothing but class.

I don’t see this as “death” for a possible Palin 2012 run, as you might wish, FRiend. There’s a lot of road between here and 2012, and right now she is cheerleading for 2010. That’s what she’s focused on right now. And even you have to admit she’s doing a “heckuva” job getting conservatives elected.
