When US Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell won Delaware's GOP primary, the noise coming out of the mainstream media and the Republican establishment was not about her position on the issues but her past personal problems. She took longer than usual to complete her education, she had some trouble paying her bills and ended up facing a tax lien they shouted. But instead of those revelations hurting the candidate, they seem to have only emphasized that Ms. O'Donnell, like other Tea Party favored candidates, is a real person who has faced the same type of difficulties most real Americans understand.

I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not
responded to their previous correspondence. The IRS admitted the letter was a mistake, issued a Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien on May 19, 2010 and chalked it up to a “computer error.”
As it should be via political representation.
It was never meant to be a career to represent us.
It was meant to be a duty with a "term".
It's being conveyed by some that the asylum doors have been opened up because a "normal person" (that's peon or serf to you in the Washington beltway) is in the running to represent the working class.
We need more of Christine O'Donnell IMO!

I know, it’s pretty darn funny.
I can see Bill Maher [and Rove] standing by a pile of kindling [in complete Salem witch trial gear] about to light it up, and O’Donnell is standing behind them with a big grin asking, “So, how’s your BBQ going?”
The real issue isn’t which questionable figures Christine hung out with in high school, its the questionable figures her opposition hangs out with today.
We were victimized by the IRS years ago. AFter freezing our accounts, checking and savings and making it impossible for us to pay our bills, they figured it out.
Their mistake, so sorry for the inconvenience.
