One of the interesting things of this election cycle has been to see what sore losers RINOS and country club Republicans are becoming. Since the Tea Party Movement has been throwing establishment GOPers out right and left (or maybe that's let and left) some of them have responded with petulance instead of accepting the will of the voters.
In fact we've been seeing quite a few little tantrums thrown by the RINO set as voters have been turning against them.
Recall that "Benedict" Arlen Specter had to jump parties because Republican Pat Toomey was encroaching on the privilege that Specter assumed he'd earned. Once it became clear that Toomey was the GOP choice, Specter petulantly snubbed him and no support was forthcoming from supposedly life-long Republican Specter.
In New York's 23rd we saw a back room deal set Dede Scozzafava up to become the candidate for the GOP nod for Congress there. But the Republican voters had another idea and gave their votes to independent conservative Doug Hoffman instead. Who did "Republican" Scozzafava endorse after the dust settled? She endorsed the Democrat. Temper, temper, little RINO.
A look down in Florida will remind us of Charlie Crist's flip flopping and struggling campaign. The supposedly Republican Crist was so mad at Tea Party supported Marco Rubio that Crist ended up not supporting what the voters clearly wanted. He decided to thumb his nose at them by running for Senate as an "independent." A little tantrum that is making him look like a fool if his low, low poll ratings can be believed...

Snatching defeat . . . !
It’s too bad McPain wasn’t throw out on his sorry arse!
Many Republcians are just as SELF ABSORBED and SELF SERVING as godless Demoncrats. They have lost their way.
Has anyone ever won a major race by write-in? I mean like a House or Senate seat? I just can't see someone getting enough votes to win. More likely to get just enough to keep the person who won the primary from winning.
Indeed, they have lost their way, and what they are slowly learning is winning in November does not mean as much to Rank and File Republicans as does having someone they support 100% running for the office.
Too much political expediency and the Real America Republicans have had enough of it.
Good article...the picture in my mind is of the little brat banging his spoon on his highchair.
This cleansing effort should have happened long ago. The only good that will come of the current congress and POTUS is the complete revitalization of the American right. They have leaned so far left they managed to wake America up. As they say, “it takes a Carter to get a Reagan”.
Hey, GOP: No more excrement sandwiches! McCain was the last one we were gonna choke down and only because it came with a side of Sarah.
I have found the GOP really hard to stomach lately.
They reek and it's the reason why I dumped that boatload of lying frauds long ago.
I remember when the country club elite tried to shut down Reagan. The country club elite should be democrats since they are more related.
Fixed it. It ain't just Dems.
Well written and very good article.
Ha, exactly the image!
“What a bunch of whiners! They can’t stand the idea that voters don’t want them! “
Look, it’s really this simple. Republicans/Conservatives gave this bunch unquestioned loyalty and support for many years.
We’ve treated them like royalty, seeking them out and paying to hear their words. We’ve treated them like celebrities instead of the PUBLIC servants they pledged to be and got paid mightily for it, bu all of us.
They hold out carrots of being pro life, strong on defense, and we just melt like silly teenagers. Just like the minorities, unions, etc. give unquestioned support to Obama and the democrats.
It’s just the opposite side of the same disgusting coin.
And they are ALL just humans, some more so than others.
I just hope and pray that republicans get a spine/conscience and start cleaning their own house. They can’t clean up the democrat mess without cleaning up their own first. Republicans showed that spine when they wouldn’t defend Nixon. We’ll see if they get rid of the egotistical hacks like Rove, Norquist, Gingrich, Armey, McCain, Graham, etc. that just keep promising and just keep selling us out. It’s called being USED. I, for one, am tired of it.
And this nonsense about ‘support the best conservative that can win’.......
OKAY, GOP big shots....give us a CONSERVATIVE instead of your liberals with an ‘r’ and we will! Until then, I will vote for the only conservatives in the race.
Just lately? They have been making me sick since they put traitor Juan on the ballot.
Here is the truth. The country clubbers are never defeated; they are only derailed until they can regroup to take over again and advance the goal of global socialism.
