Yes, I have a question. At the risk of sounding naive, just what is a “tea bagger?” I’ve seen references to it, but noone has ever explained it to me in detail.
Never ask a question if you aren't prepared for the answer:
“Tea bagger”, as in to “tea bag” one’s sexual partner. I won’t go any further out of respect for those who might be offended. You can research further on the internet.
Look it up in the Urban Dictionary.

I guess quite a few others have explained it, but the term was originated in the gay community and described the practice of a gay man dunking his “tea bag” into the “cup” of his partner’s mouth.
It was, until the left’s most gifted practitioner, Anderson Cooper, pretty well restricted to the gay community’s language and practice.
Since then, like most liberal lefty practices, it has been brought into mainstream language and laughed and hooted about until it has been made to be seen as an everyday and even mostly heterosexual practice, especially the base practice of the language art transformed by the left.
When Cooper made the first national reference to it on his TV show, it was in a naughty-boy giggle fest with David Gergen, Cooper saying that it must be difficult for right wing teabaggers to talk with their mouths full. The two tittered about it on Coopers show;

As usual, the left celebrates a witticism that is made for the “insiders” of the gay community.
Believe me, Maher KNOWS what a “teabagger” is.
