I asked Jim Robinson today to delete my account on Free Republic. He asked me to post an opus so some folks would not think that I was banned for no reason. Here is my brief opus:
Thank you Free Republic and Good Bye. This was an excellent forum for many years but now I do not think it is so in my humble opinion. The trend where the forum is going is very clear to me and I do not want to be part of it.
For all the Freepers with whom I have had good relationship and great discussions I want to thank you for all the good time we had together on this forum.
God Bless America and Our Brave Troops.

I just glanced at his history and I think the reason he’s leaving is because too many freepers are pro-palin. He is not a Palin fan

You nailed it, the guy was obsessed with Palin and trashing conservatives that support her, the conservative sweep last night must have upset him terribly.

Palin's okay, but she's no Jim DeMint. Jim actually supports conservatives in every race.

I agree. It happened Election Night 2008. Just the natural progression from a worn out worthless pos loser of a presidential candidate to his running mate.
He was trying to be a harda** in that post until post 52 when he started backtracking.
He was apparently very angry just at the thought of the NRC or NRSC trying to swing the AK primary election from Miller to Murkowski. Kept calling people liars.
