President Obamas refusal to extend all the Bush tax-cuts will result in tax-hikes for individuals earning over $200K and households earning over $250K.
Lets see who are these millionaires as Barack Obama likes to call them.
First ,of course, the President will tax-hike himself with his $400K salary. Next under the IRS knife goes the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi with her $224K. To rephrase the President: at some point the public servants had made enough money.
The line moves to the elite Academia led by the Harvard professors and the top university administrators. The American Association of University Professors came up with a chart showing that the average salary of their fellow members in Harvard is $192K. It is safe to assume that some professors in Harvard make money above the average that will bring them across the $200K line drawn by President Obama.
Stanford and Princeton elites are not far behind.
Harvard professors totally deserve those salaries. After all they produce armies of lawyers. Median U.S. chief legal officer total cash compensation (salaries plus bonuses) is $466,800, according to the 2010 Law Department Compensation Benchmarking Survey.

The national Bureau of Labor Statistics gives us the data of other categories of workers that will be hit by the Obama tax-hikes. All of them highly educated and highly skilled workers.
Examples include surgeons making on average $292K, ob/gyn doctors $279K, anesthesiologists $271K, family and general practitioners $220K.

And his buddies, the union bosses and George Soros.
Except Gates. He’ll get some sort of ethnic discount.
Don’t bet on it. They’ll somehow put in some kind of “grandfather clause” that will exempt most of these people.
As for the average “Joe and Jane”? Well, hey, life’s tough!
Since when do Obama’s close associates PAY THEIR TAXES?
“First ,of course, the President will tax-hike himself with his $400K salary”
The President reported income of $5.6 million on his 2009 tax return. Most of this income came from royalties on his books.
I’d like to see the Republican leadership challenge the President to donate all of his earnings over $250,000 per year to the Treasury. After all, he hates the wealthy and he has defined anyone earning over $250,000 per year as rich. He talks about fairness. The case can be made it isn’t “fair” for him to earn over $250,000.
I think Obama has to make sure non of the government employees receive salary over $200K. The tax-payers should not be in the business of creating ‘millionaires’
