So Castle supporters, what about that eh? You would have to be a true left wing extremist to have voted for that resolution.

This proves Castle is aligned with the Left, and solidly.

Go Christine!

Many politicians figured out Specter’s trick of being a democrat but running as a republican. In fact, in the last election (6 years ago) Specter urged all his union buddies to change their registration to Republican long enough to vote for him in the primary.

It looks like Castle figured out this trick, and now, hopefully, he will have the same fate as Specter.

That’s like saying they were spinning a 5 ton concrete cube. Some things are unspinnable.

He was in some pretty good conservative company. And it essentially killed the motion, which is why so many conservative Republicans voted for it. You better try something better than this.

Castle turned himself into a total knee-jerk, robot-like Leftwingtard of the worst sort with that vote.

There can be no "spin" to save him, or the rest of the Republican apparatus in Delaware.

They should be DECERTIFIED and stripped of their right to use the title "Republican Party".

This is worse than being a RINO (a Democrat who runs as a Republican in an overwhelmingly leftist district) ~ it's a case where a traditional NE Rockefeller Republican literally signed up with the Democrats and sought to take over a state's entire Republican party as a petty satrapy for the DNC.

We should go after these guys for the return of any DNC or other national Republican campaign funds ~ just drag their A#### through the courts and strip them of everything they have.

I don't like Castle, but this is b.s.
All of the republicans voted to send it to committee.
Did Castle Vote to Impeach Bush?
Mike Castle never voted to impeach President Bush; no such vote ever occurred on the floor of the House. He did vote to commit goofball Congressman Dennis Kucinich's impeachment resolution to the Judiciary Committee, where it died, as intended, a slow death. And Castle's office said that it opposed impeachment because "they believed there weren't any crimes committed by the Bush administration."

YEp - there are those here in FR Land who believe that electing Castle-type “Repubs” is better than “teaching Repubs a lesson”...

And yet we then wonder why even when the Repubs are in the majority, they can’t get much done... too much “reaching across the isle”... because many of those “R” politicians are really “D” politicians...

He was in some pretty good conservative company.

To Parmenio:

No he was not. You might want to go actually read the roll call of this vote as linked in this article. Your claim above is total nonsense.

Sorry you claim is a lie.

Read the roll call vote linked to in the article. Castle's vote has NOTHING to do with a Committee vote. The roll call vote sited is a floor vote of the whole house.

Did it not kill the motion? It certainly did.

Retire Castle TODAY. He doesn’t deserve further employment by the US taxpayers when, at age 71, he will be getting a fine retirement and will not be able to do further damage to the Republic.

Sorry, should have said 24 repubs, not “all”.
Can anyone vouch for “conservative stalwarts like Peter King, Kevin Brady, Ralph Hall...”?
Not familiar with them.

Instead of responding in 42 seconds with a knee jerk programmed bot response take the time to actually look at the roll call of votes as I did.

Your claim he was "in pretty good Conservative company" is total nonsense.
