Italian police have seized $1.9 billion worth of assets from green energy businessman Vito Nicastri who allegedly has ties to boss of bosses Matteo Messina Denaro from Cosa Nostra as reported by Lorenzo Totaro for Bloomberg. Among the assests seized from Nicastri are 100 properties and 43 wind power companies. In recent years the Sicilian Mafia has infiltrated the windfarm industry -- so-called "lords of the wind" -- to exploit generous government subsidies for the clean energy.

One way or another, we are ruled by crime lords. Government needs to be defunded so that it loses power over us.
In the United States there is massive fraud against Medicare and other subsidy programs by organized crime groups . . . free government money is an offer mobsters can’t refuse, and given the bureaucracy that administers these programs the odds of getting caught are relatively small which makes the risk worth taking for them.
Keep following that money, and I’m sure it will lead to Al Gore.
