The TEA Party gathering outside Brookhaven Town Hall exploded into a raucous protest when Congressman Tim Bishop allowed only SEIU and staffers into the hall.
“I want to hear from constituents who matter, I’m sorry for the 3000 people outside but the 250 SEIU members got in first” Bishop said. When asked to comment on reports that the SEIU members physically pushed their way to the front of the line and threatened violence to anyone who stood in their way, Bishop said “No comment”.
