Reactions of the Koran burning Pastor Terry Jones!
Dittos Rush! ^ | 9-9-10 | James

Posted on 09/09/2010 10:11:05 AM PDT by iloveamerica1980

Here are just a few:

"The Holy Koran is sacred, just like the Bible is to Christians," Dr. Mohamed Elsanousi, director of community outreach for the Islamic Society of North America, said in an interview. "Desecration of this book is something people will not tolerate."

"Hardball" host Chris Matthews, who called Jones' plans to burn the Islamic holy book "a terrible idea" and warned that it "could cause trouble and even death" when televised in Muslim countries, asked, "What do you think the reaction will be as this goes on international television? What will be the consequence?"

"It's obviously intolerant they're doing it precisely to offend those practicing Muslims," said John Erdevig of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The most chilling reaction is in this video report from AsianCoorespondent.com at 0:51 mark: "If this happens, the first reaction that will follow is that wherver Americans are seen, on matter where they are in the world.....they will be killed!"

well, its not my intention to be made ‘known’ on this site. I read and I comment when the mood strikes me. Is it important that you know me? Is there a form I failed to fill out?

"Burning a book is all it takes to set you off?"

That, is a good line.

You are an attention seeking freeper. If you weren’t, you’d address your ‘issues’ in a personal reply instead of public replies. Your self appointed grammar patrol police skills are lacking as well.

Aw come on. I really liked your first response.

LOL

We are helping Jimmie become an originalist in thought and it may be taking.

No, you didn’t forget the form. You are an oldtimer on FR, so I defer to you as a founder.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
No matter how wrong or stupid it may be.

Cheers.

Don't worry folks...I have it on good authority that this will be done in the most politically correct way as possible. The good Pastor will use the appropriate method

And as for me I will start my daily constitutional the appropriate way...

I believe that Janna Davis knows way more than even she as told. The STUPID government should have listened or not have covered up the truth which is what I believed happened.

I don't live in Oklahoma, but my husband was from there and I still visit relatives in the City.

Is she that reporter? I forgot her name, but I remember that night when she kept reporting they had caught that man, who now I think is John Doe #2.

I think she does know more, but probably has been threatened to keep her mouth shut. I believe Tim McVeight was just a useful idiot, being used by the Islamic's here in Okla., they fed him theories and he glorified them to his own taste.

I watched as they kept reporting that man, who they let go, they kept saying he had no connection. WELL then, why did he try to run, and left TOWN pronto.

We will never get to the truth, but in my heart the Okla. Muslimes were definately involved.

I will be away from my computer this evening, so you will now why I do not respond.

Night.
