President Obama is playing to those people in Yemen who cling to religion and guns.

“The Holy Koran is sacred, just like the Bible is to Christians,”
Christians don’t, yet, riot, burn things, and kill people when the Bible is desecrated. Maybe we’d get prayer back in schools if we did.

"Hardball" host Chris Matthews, who called Jones' plans to burn the Islamic holy book "a terrible idea" and warned that it "could cause trouble and even death" when televised in Muslim countries, asked, "What do you think the reaction will be as this goes on international television? What will be the consequence?" Obama's policies are supposedly provocating "violent rhetoric from the Right" and we are told that this just shows that the Right should be ostricized and ignored in public debate.

"It's obviously intolerant they're doing it precisely to offend those practicing Muslims," said John Erdevig of Ann Arbor, Michigan. You can spot a leftist by his inability to perceive irony.

(Excerpt) Actually, it's not an excerpt. Nothing follows what you have already posted.
Again, thanks for posting the full content and the direct video link.

"It's obviously intolerant they're doing it precisely to offend those practicing Muslims," said John Erdevig of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Probably defended Marilyn Manson's stunts which were performed in many a civic owned venue:

Ann Arbor, MI - enough said. I once had an old guy call from there. He was retired. He sounded reasonable until he started talking about his fear of the Tea Party people and Plain. I immediately realized he was probably retired UAW.

The is another case of a double standard. Muslims can burn American flags and kill Christians because they are Christians, and the liberal press could care less. I have had a number of Sudanese in my church, and anyone that believes that Islam is a religion of peace should hear what these Sudanese Christians experienced at the hands of Muslims. Whatever Islam is, it is NOT a religion of peace. Here is the elephant in the room which hardly anyone is willing to believe or to express, namely, we are at war with Islam whether we like it or not. It is a reality.

Burn the koran and we will kill babies - muslims
Burn the Bible and we say ‘you are an idiot’ - Christians/Jews
Yep I can see how that is equal.

Y'all please note this thread which includes:
1. A direct link to the video
2. Attribution to the owner of the video
3. Full content text
The excerpting may simply be habit, and is correctable.
Overall, I'm impressed.

The Holy Koran is sacred, just like the Bible is to ChristiansMaybe these people would be happier in some of the countries that burn Christians instead of their Bible.
Personally, I think this little gimmick has gotten way more attention than it should have. And I think the reason for all the attention is that the Muslims won't ALLOW the Koran to be burned. We'll have to wait and see.
