Almost lost in the ludicrous exchange in which 3 pro-abortion fanatics who consider gay marriage to be the next big battle against bigotry defending the Catholic Church against Glenn Beck, was this outburst from Chrissy “Tingly Leg” Matthews– which was embarrassing, even by his low standard.

If he keeps this up, he won’t even be a useful idiot for the Left anymore:

MATTHEWS: This guy, Barack Obama—not to get too basic about it -did everything right. He studied hard in school. He obeyed the law. He raised a family. He took care of his family. He was an excellent student. He was on the “Harvard Law Review.” He did every—he went through the democratic process. He didn‘t go out and make a lot of money on Wall Street. He gave himself to his community. This guy is almost pluperfect, and they don‘t like him?

How can they not admire that he spent his life talking about radical politics and making millions off it? What is the matter with middle America, anyway?

Of course, Joan Walsh of Salon added her gushing agreement:

WALSH: He is the American dream. He lived it. He embodies it. And somehow, he did something wrong. I don‘t know what it is, but—

Of course the whole discussion was merely the latest installment in the continuing MSNBC saga of “Republican Equals Bigot.”

He is Anglo-African American. His mother was white. Amazing how they seem to ignore that. However, they can ignore it all they want but it is fact. This president white as well as black. Period.

I'm so sick of this ‘they don't like him because he's African American’ crap. The reality is that if whites voted along racial lines, (like African Americans did in the the 2008 Presidential election) Obama could not have been elected. We oppose him because of his ideology and what he wants to do to the country, not because he's half black.

Would the left vote for Alan Keyes? Of course they wouldn't. Is this because he's African American? No, it's because they don't like his convictions and beliefs. We don't like Obama because he is a pseudo-intellectual Marxist with a chip on his shoulder. We don't like him because he doesn't want to preserve and strengthen the America we love. He wants to remake the nation into an entirely different entity based on his flawed ideology.

With regards ‘giving himself to his community’, this is also drivel. He found a great ‘gig’ that didn't require him to have a real job or to work hard. He then moved into a huge house in a much more exclusive area than the crime ridden community he was supposedly organizing on the South Side. He didn't sacrifice to do this. Chrissy is clueless.

To me it sounded as though Chrissy was saying, “And it’s not like Obama took power by a military coup, as he in his brilliance had every right to do. Yet he stooped to submit himself to the democratic process so that he could give the unwashed masses the big favor of getting to vote for him.”
