This video should be posted on a continuous run at every liberal news media office in the country just to remind them what a real interviewer is supposed to do when the subject of the interview tries to B.S.his way through.
The fact that Gibbs is still press secretary is a testament to the inability of the WH press corps (maybe “corpse” would be more accurate) to ask tough questions and insist upon honest answers. If Bush had employed someone who treated reporters like Gibbs does they’d have run him out of DC in a week.
I would have hated to see him get his ass wooped by Gretchen.

WRT how many times she had asked the question, they were both wrong. Gibbs said she’d already asked it twice and she said it was the first time.

And Gibbs did answer it the same basic way twice, by giving some credit to the troops and claiming that Obama had said there was no doubt 20,000 more troops would help the security problem. Gibbs was lying about Obama saying that, but that WAS his answer.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for Obama to sincerely give credit to anyone other than himself. Much less admit even in the slightest way he was might possibly have been wrong. He sends bozos like this rube to face the cameras to convince the masses the Great Leader was right, is right, and will always be right. If it were not so embarrassing, it might be funny.
