I first saw the documentray last night .I was filled with so many emotions. It was really a first hand look at what the citizens of new orleans had to go through because of the government.

I've listened to the tales and weeping about Hurricane Katrina this past weekend and decided to pay my Blog..."Fish Katrina" a visit.

It was a brainstorm of mine back in 2005, the notion that I would document, AS IT HAPPENED, the events of Hurricane Katrina that my granddaughter have the truth.

It's badly formatted in some cases as over the years I've changed the Blog but it was a hoot to revisit.

I am so glad I did this....all formatted in a letter to granddaughter, who was less than a year old when this storm hit and the lies....?

Well they still lie...don't they?

It’s been interesting watching the documentaries about Katrina. Members of my family on the MS Gulf Coast and New Orleans lost their homes. Some bought again on the Coast, and others have moved on to other areas of the country.
