Iranian Bomber: threat or Bluff?

On August 22 Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran unveiled a domestic remotely piloted bomber called the Karrar, which is Fasi for Striker.

He proclaimed “The jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity, has a main message of peace and friendship, and the prevention of any conflict and aggression….. The main message of our defense achievements is to deter any type of confrontation.”

During his remarks he emphasized his country’s desire to develop the capability to wage pre-emptive strikes but vowed that it was only deterrence against its enemies. The Chinese would call this a Paper Tiger: something that seems as threatening as a tiger, but is really harmless.

We have to carefully lookover everything Iran does. Not give them too much credit but not ignore them either.

Yawn this monkey is getting old with his incessant squawks about stuff we have been there done that circa 1970’s, any modern air defense system would spat a subsonic drone with look down shoot down pulse Doppler radar. This angel of death or whatever bullsh1t name he called is is nothing more than a ground boosted RPV prob GPS guided well we can just turn GPS off and jam the com links only we have the M-code GPS cypher and EHF geosync birds with up looking pencil beam antennas immune to ground and airborne jamming.
