Sources in Anchorage inform me that the five-member executive board of the Alaska Libertarian Party will convene in an emergency meeting today to discuss efforts by Lisa Murkowski’s supporters to secure the LP nomination for the Republican senator should she fail to overturn Joe Miller’s 1,668-vote margin in the GOP primary.

I saw some of the debate between Miller and Murkowski on CSPAN yesterday. She doesnt come off well in his presence.

Although I don’t like the Libertarians (they invariably hurt the Republican candidate), I’ve always given them credit for sticking to principle. The thought of some mainstream liberal, Big Government Republican getting their nomination to increase the party’s prowess would signal a total abandonment of those principles in favor of potential power.

How is Murkowski ANYWHERE close to being in sync with the Libertarians?
Crist is done betcha and Lisa isnt helping herself. Dont be so sure the conservatives arent going to pull this off. This is a battle in the war only.
I can now see why Palin has absolutely NO use for the Murkowski clan.
