Rhetorical sleight-of-hand. “Bloomberg is Jewish and you’re going after him.”. It’s what’s known as a fallacious (or specious) causal link. While both statements are true (Bloomberg IS Jewish and we ARE going after him), we are not going after him BECAUSE he is Jewish.
But don’t let journalistic integrity stand in the way of your trickery ...
