As a co-host of ABC's daytime chatfest "The View," Elisabeth Hasselbeck has long been known as the conservative firebrand of the show, willing to butt heads with her fellow co-hosts on issues including taxes and abortion. But Hasselbeck, who campaigned with Sarah Palin in '08, insists that she's been misunderstood, saying in a recent interview that she regards President Barack Obama as an "incredibly cool guy" and parts company with conservative culture warriors on the charged issues of gay marriage and abortion rights. On the latter front, she says she's "torn"; she offers fairly unequivocal support on the controversial question of same-sex unions.
In an interview with Fancast's Adam Buckman, Hasselbeck insists she's not "ultra-ultra-conservative on every issue." "I actually support gay marriage," she says, an admission that puts her to the left of Obama...

So-called "Conservatives" who take the same positions as the Liberal Elite are hurting the Conservative cause. She's not on my side -- she's operating under false pretenses.
That’s too bad, I used to feel bad for her being pitted against the ultra liberals and being ganged up on plus she is young pretty and blonde so they ridiculed her for being a bimbo. I’d like to hope she isn’t beaing beated down into submission from the lesbian liberals. I hope she can stay strong and FIGHT!
Psalm 1 gives a good warning to man [or woman]:
Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man [or woman] that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
You start hanging around (walking with) and taking the counsel from the ungodly, and then before long you begin to become rooted (standing) in their ways. Eventually you degrade to the point that you are 'seated' dishing out scorn to God's Word.

Well, she claims to be a Christian she better re-read her bible and have a little talk with God.

Or was it only after she made the stupid and hurtful comments about Erin Andrews on "Dancing With The Stars" and had to apologize that Hasselbeck began to kowtow to the other hags? I have never watched this show, am only going by what I read in comments here, sometimes hear on the various radio shows.
She’s a weak conservative voice, but I suppose that’s what Babs & Co want.
She was the “token” conservative. The hags wouldn’t have someone they would have to do battle with every day that would possible win the argument.
I've only seen the show about three times and they've done it each time!
I sometimes wonder how liberal some Hollywood types really are in private. They’ve been lured into a world filled with every excess that the heart could possibly desire, and once trapped in that world, they will do anything to keep it.
If we knew the true extent of debauchery, blackmail, and quid-pro-quo behavior, we would be permanently nauseated.
It won’t matter, Elizabeth, they’ll still hate you. Might as well jump all the way in.

I never watch the show but for clips or certain interviews like the OBowma interview. Yes, I even see the fat black woman that I think is also a lesbian, who was an actress on Everyone Loves Raymond and played Robert Barone’s partner in the NYPD.
