I’m just having fun with a PSU fan.
At least by being a Notre Dame fan, you can stand out from the crowd and this is coming a Connecticut or UConn football fan. :)
This year you are the hunted.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
-Go Gators!
Connecticut? That's gonna be a long wait.
I became a Notre Dame fan when I moved to South Bend in 1968. My alma-mater is actually D.I.T. - the Detroit Institute of Technology - I'm a night-school engineer!
The only athletic team we had was 'Out-run or shoot the Mugger'.
When I worked in Detroit, I made a lotta money from my boss(the greatest guy I've ever known - may G_d bless him) by betting against Notre Dame, because he was a Masters Grad at Notre Dame, and he'd always give me at least 15 points!
When I finally moved to FLA for good in 2002, I was just too steeped in the tradition of Notre Dame to transfer my feelings to some fake Florida college.
Yikes - people are crazy in FLA. They even recruit High-School players and their families, just to get the best team (Lakeland is the worst).
Stay well, lady ......................... FRegards
WAR EAGLE ! !
It should be a GOOD Iron Bowl game between AL and Auburn.
Auburn U., is what I call the surprise college football team of the college season, not expecting it to be at least in the top 10 for college football teams.
I believed they are number 2!
Is this the college football team that has a possible Heisman Trophy winner who has come under a lot of questions? Just wondering. Thank-you for the response. :)=^..^=
Yes, some say that a rogue agent went about trying to sell him to college football teams (ie. Miss St). Others also claim his father did the same thing at Miss. St.
Whether Cam knew about it or they can prove it is sticky points. Don't doubt either of the stories are true. Cam can't help the first, Cam couldn't help the second unless he encouraged his dad to try and pimp him out. Proving it unless recorded would be nearly impossible. Auburn is probable blameless in either case, and no one (except some Bama fans) has pointed a finger that Auburn offered incentives to come there.
From what I have read, in other words, an effort to “trap” Auburn into some form of recruting violations in which they have as you have said all along, been blameless.
I am hoping Auburn stays blameless, but this is college football and you know how easy it is for some stupid alumni member to just wanna give AU the edge next year and the next year. Same thing with all colleges, there is just some that will do anything to gain an edge. So far, Auburn has not shown up on the radar of wrong doing and nobody has provided even a scrap of information to prove/suggest otherwise.
Well, good news, UConn is going to a BCS bowl game. :)
