[I'll say up front I'm in disagreement with the "LID" on this one]:
"World Net Daily has decided to drop conservative pundit and author, Ann Coulter as the keynote speaker for WND's "Taking America Back National Conference" next month. Because of her plan be the keynote speaker at "HOMOCON," an event put together by GOProud the first genuinely conservative group for gay Republicans."
"WND Editor Joseph Farah reports this exchange with Ms Coulter:
'Asked by Farah why she was speaking to GOProud, Coulter said: "They hired me to give a speech, so I'm giving a speech. I do it all the time."
Farah then asked: "Do you not understand you are legitimizing a group that is fighting for same-sex marriage and open homosexuality in the military not to mention the idea that sodomy is just an alternate lifestyle?"
Coulter responded: "That's silly, I speak to a lot of groups and do not endorse them. I speak at Harvard and I certainly don't endorse their views..."
"Obviously Farah does not agree with the Ronald Reagan Statement The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally not a 20 percent traitor."
"According to Farah the reason for their rejection of GOProud their support of same-sex marriage and military service for open homosexuals. A look at the group's web site shows those issues are not the groups priorities."

LOL!!!
It remains to be seen what she’s going to “preach” to them about. You think that she’s going to tell them that 90% of their legislative agenda (I copied it up the thread) is NOT conservative?
If she does, great. We will see.
Your idle ( and I mean idle) worship is overboard. Coulter is not Jesus. To infer such is disgusting.
Your idle ( and I mean idle) worship is overboard. Coulter is not Jesus. To infer such is disgusting.Got it.
FWIW, you might want to work on that "Judge not" stuff yourself. :o)I promise not to judge what is in YOUR heart, if you won't try to read what is in MY heart -- or in Ann's.
To say that I believe that Ann is doing her best to FOLLOW Christ's commands is clearly NOT the same as my saying that she herself is in any way "divine" -- or to be worshiped.
Yes, I like and respect Ann -- MOST of the time.
But, NO -- this does NOT mean that I "worship" her, or Governor Palin -- or any of God's OTHER creatures.
It remains to be seen what shes going to preach to them about. We shall see.
My guess is that she will make them LAUGH -- mostly.
And, she will make them THINK -- a lot.Ideally, the part of her speech that makes them "squirm" will be the part that may just "convert" a few from the error of their ways, one hopes. And, she will make them SQUIRM -- a little.
Did you read the GOProud Legislative Agenda? I posted it up the thread. I’ll be very surprised (pleasantly so) if she mentions it.
And calling people who are concerned with 0thugga’s eligibility “birthers” teams her up at least in verbiage with leftists.
Not giving a rip about his eligibility is pissing on the Constitution, sorry to be blunt. Someone could say “I am not concerned with that but these other things”. But she and others go out of their way to sneer at those concerned about the rule of law and Constituional requirements ignored. This doesn’t sit well with me. Why the sneering? For what purpose? She doesn’t give a rip about the Constitutional requirements for the president? Means nothing to her?
Except that we ARE to judge right from wrong. The left ALWAYS takes that Scripture out of context. Anyone who has studied the Word knows better. That passage is about lecturing others on the sin you are guilty of.
I promise not to judge what is in YOUR heart, if you won't try to read what is in MY heart -- or in Ann's.
Again, we ARE to judge right from wrong. Do you think God approves taking money from the people of Sodom and Gomorrah? I haven't heard God or Jesus issue any apology to destroying them for their homosexuality.
But, NO -- this does NOT mean that I "worship" her, or Governor Palin -- or any of God's OTHER creatures.
You and others certainly do make a lot of excuses for the self-proclaimed "Judy Garland of the Right." She is not going there to preach God's word. She is going there to get PAID. Name a time she preached a Sermon on the Mount.
Heterosexual love, marriage and family should not be legally, socially and culturally redefined by “speical rights” homosexuals.
We already got a taste of the Dyke’s running heterosexual relationships and marriage in the femenazi era (sexual harassment of heterosexuals and fathers not needed in families except as an atm, and don’t forget the all heterosexual sex is rape “studies”)...before the BJ put them out of business.
We don’t need to take it any deeper down that rabbit hole of destruction. Annie is a lawyer and she, hopefully knows better than you do.
Sick of hearing about Homo’s-Love Ann.
Annie? *sigh* "Annie" is going to talk to Sodom and Gomorrah residents and get paid for it. They are NOT conservatives. See the Tweet from their head banana in post 107.
Care to elaborate?
...Name a time she preached a Sermon on the Mount.See for yourself, from a site-specific Google search for site:anncoulter.com Jesus
...Anyone who has studied the Word knows better.LOLOL!That passage is about lecturing others on the sin you are guilty of.
Do you even READ what you post?
You are making MY point.
O.K., you win. **I** am clearly NOT perfect.
But neither are you, my brother. :o)
Sorry but I don’t see a sermon. Referencing Jesus isn’t giving a sermon on the sin of homosexuality.
Let me know when they invite you. :o)Since Ann **did** get invited, at least there is the POSSIBILITY that she will change a few "hearts and minds".
We shall see in a few weeks how effective she will be.
No. I am not. That passage is about hypocrites. It tells us to examine ourselves for a particular sin before telling someone else they are guilty of that sin.
If we are not to judge then we have no right to say that Mother Theresa was a good person and Bin Laden is not. We'd have no right to judge a murderer or rapist. We'd have no right to say anyone was wrong.
You are becoming ridiculous in defense of your idol. I hope you repent of it.
She has a right to do as she pleases. But I have the right to disagree. Smearing someone because they disagree with someone that you idolize is not a thing to be admired.
True. When a country increasingly rejects the moral laws of God, blindness is the result.
Sorry but I dont see a sermon...I understand.
I have an unfair advantage, having actually READ almost all of Ann's columns. :o)Try THIS one:
IF YOU CAN FIND A BETTER DEAL, TAKE IT!I have rarely seen ANYONE (in or outside of the traditional "four walls" of the church) deliver the Great Commission as powerfully as Ann did in this one (nominally POLITICAL) column.
(January 6, 2010)
The whole thing is GREAT (and relatively short) -- and it ends, wonderfully, this way:
-- snip --ANYONE that "preaches the Word" so eloquently gets a LOT of grace from me......You can be washing the dishes or walking your dog or just sitting there minding your business hating Susan Sarandon and accept that God sent his only son to die for your sins and rise from the dead ... and you're in!
"Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9.
If you do that, every rotten, sinful thing you've ever done is gone from you. You're every bit as much a Christian as the pope or Billy Graham.
No fine print, no "your mileage may vary," no blackout dates. God ought to do a TV spot: "I'm God Almighty, and if you can find a better deal than the one I'm offering, take it."
The Gospel makes this point approximately 1,000 times. Here are a few examples at random:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23.
In a boiling rage, liberals constantly accuse Christians of being "judgmental." No, we're relieved.
Christianity is also the hardest religion in the world because, if you believe Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead, you have no choice but to give your life entirely over to Him.No more sexual promiscuity, no lying, no cheating, no stealing, no killing inconvenient old people or unborn babies -- no doing what all the other kids do.
And no more caring what the world thinks of you -- because, as Jesus warned in a prophecy constantly fulfilled by liberals: The world will hate you.
With Christianity, your sins are forgiven, the slate is wiped clean and your eternal life is guaranteed through nothing you did yourself, even though you don't deserve it. It's the best deal in the universe.COPYRIGHT 2009 ANN COULTER

...even if I do not always understand (or agree with) EVERYTHING that she says and does. And, who knows -- I might even post some nice things about YOU, if I make the time to read what you have written about Him. :o)
