Didn't see this posted yet, this is a huge blow to NOAA's and NASA's credibility IMHO.

Whatever happened to NOAA’s “above average” hurricane season this year?

They have taken out of commission thousands of land based temperature measurement sites with some having 100 years of accumulated data. Many are rural and haven’t been afflicted with the heat island that has grown around larger cities.
I’m sure they are in the process of losing the data as it may be “inconvenient”.

This is like NOAA’s problem with locating temperature sensors near air conditioners, on top of concrete and asphalt pads, roof tops and other places that are hotter by nature then claiming those sensors show global warming.

Whatever happened to NOAAs above average hurricane season this year? Just a bit too early in the hurricane season to judge. We'll know more by mid-September.

Linked article is definitely worth reading.
To: FlingWingFlyer
Just wait. If its a below average season then they will blame it on the Gulf oil spill and less hurricanes will be bad because it causes drought conditions in the SE.

First of all, it’s good to see Canada still has a “free press”.
Second, when will somebody finally drive the final nail into the “global warming” scam coffin?
The jig is up on “global warming” and it’s like, so over..
How stupid would you have to be to fall for that scam at this point?
To: listenhillary
Too many so-called “scientists” and associated government administrators ignore data that disproves their agenda;also there has long been a reluctance to keep funding the data collection by still working old technology in favor of funding some new flashy gizmos.
