MY PRAYER: Day 40 of 140 [Week – 6 (God’s Intervention to Turn the Tide)]

Father God I fully trust you and you alone! I am reminded of the fact that everything we have belongs to you and that we are to be good stewards of what you have entrusted us with. Father God, we as a Nation have so often failed to acknowledge you and follow your Will with our National finances and we deserve your wrath poured out on us for it. Father, I pray on behalf of my Nation that you will forgive us and heal our land. Lord, I believe it is your sincere desire to see your people prosper but we need to come to you on your terms and acknowledge you and seek your guidance. Lord, we as a nation have failed to do so time and time again. I pray that our leaders will humble themselves seek your face, and turn from their evil ways. Lord, may be it be so that you will receive all the glory and honor for it. I pray in the Name of Your Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, Amen!.

Dear Friend,

The financial crisis that has overtaken the United States and countries around the world has been developing for a long time--and it appears to be more complicated and far more devastating than anyone could have imagined. Although some people are still doing relatively well, there are many who are suffering greatly. Eventually, the difficulties of this crisis will touch every area of our society and will have repercussions for generations to come. As you go before the throne of grace this week, ask the Father to help people throughout our land understand that He is our Provider. Remember that wealth and possessions fade away, but when you and I build our lives on the truth of God's Word, we will never be shaken.
