Seriously, watch it.
This comes from the Republican Study Committee, which is headed, if I have the information right, by Rep. Tom Price of Georgia.
So now you can't say the GOP isn't doing anything to advance the message.
I wrote to congratulate them and ask if they'd be doing a sequel -- Reagan asking "Are you better off than you were four years ago?"

Excellent! Prophetic, I’d say.

Fine piece.
I was reading their comments and came across this link to another speech of Reagan’s.

In it he says we have 17 billion in gold, but foreigners own 27 billion. What is it today, and if I am correct, if you have a mortgage, or credit debt, foreigners own that debt, right?
Houston, we have a problem.
To: Qbert
Absolutely brilliant!
Every American must see this!

Reagan was without a doubt the best president and orator of the 20th century. Nobody could deliver a speech like Ronald Wilson Reagan. Note: he did this without a teleprompter.

He could announce a baseball game he wasn’t even at, that’s how good he was.

Not quite. Coolidge was better. He wrote his own speeches and delivered them well.

My God we were blessed to have Ronald Reagan as our President for eight years. Thank you, dear Lord. Now, we need him again.
