Americans are aghast that the president approves of the construction of a Victory Mosque by a pro-terrorism imam six hundred feet from Ground Zero. Revolting, yes. Shocking, no. One thing we know about Barack Obama is that he is committed to ruling in direct opposition to three-fourths of the American people on all core issues.
Reread his contemptible speech in Cairo, in which the president spouted flagrant falsehoods about the charms of Islam, while berating the United States for being a bit churlish about radical Muslim ideology after 9/11. Obama’s boss, George Soros, has always thought we made too much of a fuss about 9/11, an event he found “inspiring”:
"Hijacking fully fueled airliners and using them as suicide bombs was an audacious idea, and its execution could not have been more spectacular. (George Soros, “The Bubble Of American Supremacy,” The Atlantic Monthly, 12/03)"
Politically correct pundits and pols have been insisting since 9/11 that Islam is a Religion of Peace and that jihad is the result of some kind of “misinterpretation” of the Koran.
If that’s the case, Osama bin Laden had better take a review course:

And let’s get this out of the way—left wing pundits, always eager to brandish their consummate ignorance of the Constitution, have been bleating nightly on cable news about the crafty imam’s “absolute right” to build his Monster Mosque anywhere he darned well pleases. Obviously, none of these chattering churls have ever tangled with their local building department. Try to get permits to build a 100 square foot addition to your house. Then lecture us about the constitutional right to build anything, anywhere, anytime.
The courts have long held that our freedoms of expression are not absolute. The government has a right to regulate the time, place and manner of expression. Nobody is telling Muslims they can’t practice their faith. But the state has pretty compelling interests in setting limits on how it’s practiced. For example, some states take a dim view of genital mutilation. Even the American Academy of Pediatrics has retracted its initial support for the abhorrent practice.
Honor killings, while believed by some Muslims to be entirely meritorious under Sharia law, may run afoul of state statutes outlawing homicide, even when in the service of Allah.
Nobody in America has an unassailable right to build anything they want on their own property. It gets even stickier when you don’t even own the property on which you plan to build.
The good citizens in the city of Hamtramck don’t share the president’s enjoyment of the dulcet calls to prayer:
"Although hundreds of long-time residents of Hamtramck, MI protested the city allowing the five-times-per-day Muslim call to prayer to be broadcast over Hamtramck’s loudspeakers, the city council voted unanimously in April 2004 to allow it."
If the noise isn’t irritating enough, consider the feelings of non-Muslims who don’t welcome the message that Allah is the only true God.
If Obama himself is not a Muslim, he certainly is hell-bent on emulating Western Europe’s cowering to Islam at the expense of the safety and comfort of the rest of the citizenry.

Most people do not recognize that what happens in a mosque is sedition. Pure and simple. Islam is not just a “religion”, it is a cult, it is it’s own government, its judicial...is in its sharia, and its military (jihadis) all rolled into one with one intent ...and that is to rule wherever they take root. It is a invasive, systemic infection looking to take over the host once it has quantum.

That's when damage control went into effect and the President did an about-turn saying he never meant the particular Ground Zero location, just that Muslims have the right to build mosques in the US..so Mr. President when was THAT fact you allude to ever in strong public national debate..how many new mosques in NY now 42? (am guessing)
Sources within the White House blamed the bug going around within for Gibbs lashing out at the Loonie Left.., they called him a clown and not protecting Obama.
Perhaps Obama caught the same diarrhea of the mouth bug..but don't you have to be actually at work in the White House to catch said such "bug".

Samar Ali is an Associate with the firm Hogan Lovells US LLP. She is responsible for counseling clients on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, Shari’a compliant transactions, project finance, and international business matters.
Left out of the press release is that she also previously worked as an intern and received training at the Islamic International Arab Bank; according to her staff bio at the Hogan Lovells law firm,

Oklahoma lawmakers are supporting an amendment to the Oklahoma Constitution that would prohibit state courts from relying upon Sharia (Islamic law) or international law in deciding cases.
House Joint Resolution 1056 would place the issue before Oklahoma voters in November. This resolution, nicknamed “Save Our State,” has been proposed because of a rising concern with courts citing non-American sources as legal authority. Sharia, in particular, poses a threat to traditional American values. Honor killings and similar crimes are seeping into our nation, with justification under traditional Islamic law an increasingly common concern..

Judicial: Sharia courts are already operating in Britain, but it’s started across the pond too, most recently in Texas, Minnesota, and New Jersey to name a few. This is especially troubling if your president appoints a man sympathetic to Sharia. Harold Koh sees no reason why Sharia law would not be applied to govern a case in the United States.
Legislative: When I vote, I just care that the person running is committed to upholding the U.S. Constitution. I don’t care about gender, race or religion, but these guys give me pause: the North Carolina congressman who refuses to denounce Sharia in the U.S. courts and the Minnesota congressman who swore his oath of office on the Koran. I’m pretty sure the Koran and Sharia have more than a few points in conflict with the Constitution, specifically the first, eighth and thirteenth amendments.
Executive: Before Obama was elected, he went to Kenya to support Raila Odinga, who ran on the platform of imposing Sharia in that country if elected. Um, why? And since then Obama has given a culturally loaded speech to the Muslim world (why not to Mormons? Hari Krishnas?), and has been not just sympathetic, but aggressive in appointing Muslims to key positions–when he’s not literally bowing down to them.

NJ gets its first Muslim superior court judge

A University political science professor became the first Muslim ever to be appointed to the Superior Court in New Jersey on Jan. 27 when he was sworn in to the Family Division of the Court in Somerset County.
Hany Mawla, 36, is also the youngest to be appointed to the Superior Court in the state, said Hesham Mahmoud, media chair of the New Jersey chapter of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee.
Mawla was a partner at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith and Davis in Woodbridge, where he specialized in family law.
Mawla said he and Davis devised the “Islamic Law and Jurisprudence” course at the University after Sept. 11, 2001, with the help of Abed Awad, an attorney who teaches at Rutgers School of Law-Newark.
Mawla said his involvement in Arab, Muslim and minority concerns is important to him because Arabs have called New Jersey home since 1870, and yet, in his view, they are not featured as prominently in the conversation in the state. He said law is a good way to give his community a voice.
“For me, it was an opportunity to make sure Arabs and Muslims are more a part of the political and civic discourse that occurs in the state,” Mawla said.
Will he use his courtship to give the Arab and Muslim community a voice and be featured prominently in Jersey politics?
Update: The attorney with whom Mawla devised the “Islamic Law and Jurisprudence” course – Abed Awad – defended a Hamas-supporting, terror-website-running, convicted tax-cheating imam.

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said in a recent interview that his “foremost” mission as the head of America’s space exploration
agency is to improve relations with the Muslim world.
